So not very much in Hove then? Doesn't have to be a real ale pub, but my local is the Kendal Arms, which is big, cold, has no people or atmosphere and is expensive considering. I work on North Road so somewhere between Aldrington and Brighton central would do too

Put it in water and weigh the amount displaced – EASY!

Aldrington, near the station, but willing to look less local if it is a nice boozer

It is for rugby so mainly a confidence thing. Always had one (for last 18years) so feels weird without

What annoys me is the people who still seem surprised by the fact they have to pack their own bag and pay. It is not THAT automated…

Try them. When they are bad you can tell. But some in the pack may have turned, others may not. Kinda like Russian Roulette. I have to do it every time I go home to my parent's house as they dont drink any lager. They only buy it for "the kids" but then they open expensive wine when we come home, so it stay undrunk for ages!

I would take it off your hands, but I am having to downsize my fleet (1st addition to the P family will require time space and money)! I had to sell my Ransom earlier this year, but really enjoyed it and would get another. Mine was only an alu Ransom 40 so would have been quite a bit heavier, but was still great fun.

However I struggled with selling the Ransom as it doesn't seem a "fashionable" brand/bike. They don't come up often for sale and the reviews are not all brilliant. Mine went for 775e with a load of upgrades (wheels, gears, freshly serviced shock by Scott) etc and spares. Was pretty painful, but it did clear the credit card which had become more painful

    Anyone after a "that blue" 16" 456???

Shiply have got us a deal on moving from Ireland to Brighton. 18 months ago it cost us £1400 with no furniture. Now we have a bit more furniture and it is costing £450. I know that shipping has been affected by the recession but it is a pretty impressive saving, and that is collection on the Saturday and delivery on the Sunday so I will be following them all the way!

I switched an Alfa Romeo 147 3 years ago. Felt pretty good at the time, now can't get rid of it!

Before any of these shows, act like Chumbawumba, Timmy Mallet, Sinitta and Aqua have all graced the top of the charts, thus proving you never needed talent to make it

I would suggest they are more like the double take than chuckle bros

What is particularly annoying about them is that they really believe they can win and take themselves so seriously. If they had a bit more of a sense of humour they might be easier to take.

Oh and I am only watching as a social experiment, and the Mrs is pregnant and it has affected her common sense/intelligence, not because I think it is good TV…

I had it really badly in both heels, and still do to some degree. Reached the point where I couldn't walk to the shower in the morning and they were sore all day.
Saw 4 different physios and 2 podiatrists, and eventually it was put down to the way my feet hit the ground when I run/walk. I was given several simple stretches to do every 2 hrs to start with, and now do them twice a day. I also have special insoles to wear in all my shoes to reposition my feet. Cost me 400-500e to get it sorted as I ignored all the early signs ant let it become a major issue. In the end I went to the physio in August after preseason rugby training, and played my first game in early March, after starting training after Christmas. I was however told that cycling was not an issue and used it as cardio as I couldn't run

I would recommend finding out what the cause is, as it wont just go away on its own.

    http://my.cagbc.org/leed_ap/directory.php

My GF did all the research for me into this while I was unemployed and we thought that in Ireland the LEED was more useful as an international qual. As mentioned above BREEAM seems to be undertaken by architects and M&E engineers so the market seems pretty saturated, but most buildings now are looking for very good/excellent which needs an assessor to point out where the easiest marks can be gained. Surely some of the STW architects will pipe up soon? I am merely a structural engineer…

Looked into LEED a while back as it is more international. Would have served me better in Ireland than BREEAM, but seems BREEAM is still going strong over here for all the projects I am involved in, however we are using M&E eng or architect in house rather than an external consultant. Are you planning on going into it full time or as an added extra? What do you currently do etc?

23st of muscle?? Not the last time I saw him box. He is hardly trim, and all that hair on his back and arms must weigh a bit

I want to see Haye beat him. Having spent time on a punch bag punching above head height (only a few inches) it is really hard work and that is without full weight gloves on!

Valuev has yet to show much boxing talent but he is MASSIVE and hard to put down

Undecided on this one at the moment, but quite intrigued

Smoked puffin is REALLY nice! Had it in Iceland too. They are funny creatures though. We went out on a boat and went past Puffin Island. They were all swimming out and about eating fish. When the boat came along they got scared and swam away, trying to take off, but due to the poor design of their wings (better suited to swimming underwater) they could not get out of the water to fly off, so would eventually duck under the water. They all swam away in the same direction as the boat was travelling too which made me think they are stupid, badly designed and funny looking, but they do taste nice smoked.

It is the lugging around, putting in the back of the car, carrying up stairs that she is worried about, but it may just be she is allergic to heavy things and makes me carry everything. I hope she will be less allergic to our child!

Am back over this weekend so expecting the usual torrential rain to start tomorrow to make my local trail impossible!
