Only problem I've noticed with the mag is the bizarre number of staff/contributors with huge beards.

Pretty sure GPS Babel has lots of point filtering settings, not really used it myself though.

Does the Toboggan Run start at the same place as the Baby Maker and Deer Stalker? If you are at the top it's Baby Maker on the right Deer Stalker in the middle and a third on the left – is that the Toboggan Run?

Just curious if I've got the names right!

Actually another question for Swinley peeps; in which direction do people reckon is best to do the Seagull?

First obviously question when considering the £300 price difference is whether you already own a monitor you could connect the mini to or whether you need to buy one. (Likewise you also need to budget a little bit for keyboard + mouse with the mini.)

Oakley Jawbones? I like mine a lot, came with yellow and dark lenses and I've also bought a photochromatic set. Even with vented lenses hey fog up a bit when you stop riding but clear quickly when you are moving.

The FCS system on Formula Oro K24's, and probably other Formula brakes, are bite point adjustments (at the lever) I believe.

I ordered an item that was out of stock but would be available "next day" according to website. In the end it took about 3 weeks. Communication was pretty good via email and the problem seemed to be more with the distributors than with uk bike store. What did annoy me was that throughout the time I was dealing with them being told "should be posted early next week" etc. for 3 weeks, all the time the website still said the item was available for dispatch "next day". If you are doing to give dispatch times on a site at least make them accurate.

As some lovely person posted a few days ago, Seasons is available form the iTunes Store for an unbelievable £1.89 (versus about £35 for a DVD).

I guess you weren't using the ability of Acsent to backup your data to a MobileMe account unfortunately? The licence email isn't stored on-line somewhere?

I ordered the 2.2 UST non-Black Chilli a few weeks ago and then happened to look back at the page a few days later and the 2.2 Black Chilli had appeared (apparently not UST though). The fact they added them and altered the text at the top of the page to "The Rubber Queen 2.2 fold is now available with Black Chili compound ala the popular 2.4 fold." gives me some confidence they are available – but who knows!

The Memory Map website completely confuses me. Am I right in thinking you can't get 1:25,000 of anywhere you like, only national parks etc.?

As thebikechain says the rear should be pretty easy to set up with the sag meter, though it is a bit tricky to see where it is looking directly from above while seated I find. Have you put a zip tie on the forks to measure the sag? I also put marks with pen on the fork crown at the min and max of the recommended range to compare the zip tie to, sort of a homemade sag meter for the front really! For what it's worth I run about 80 in the fork and 160 in the rear but I'm a fair bit heavier than you.

Looking at the manual the pin only comes as part of the "Brake Lever Kit" (Oro item no. FD40063-20), eg.:

The wood is Forestry Commission owned isn't it? I can't see how they can charge outside of the bike park.

Are they really going to have someone standing around on weekdays to collect money? The one time I went there was a weekday and I saw, in total, two other people there.

The 2.2's with Black Chilli seem to be available now:

    http://www.velokit.co.uk/cart_productdetails.asp?PRODUCTID=3405

I ordered some 2.2's from that page on Friday and I'm sure the Black Chilli versions weren't available then! :(
