I have a lot friends who went to Uni & ‘Lived the dream’, now approaching 30 complaining because they have shit jobs or no job! on the other hand i know a couple of people who did what you would call ‘good’ degrees and are reaping the rewards!

Looks like the people doing the real degrees are the ones likely to suffer the higher fee’s as well, which isn’t good for the development of our youth with whom the nations future rests ;-)

Pretty much sh1te yes, went through x2 on my evolve pretty quickly, LBS recommended a Hope, 18 months on, still perfect, been the alps, all over UK, good kit, just a bit pricey!

Also cant fault my shimano’s either!

Kind of irrelevant. In this situation the question is “is anyone harmed by my borrowing/stealing it, listening, deciding I don’t like it and then hitting delete”. The answer is “no”. Normally I would not have bought it at all, so no cash has been lost by the artist, but they have gained a chance to sell something. If they want to avoid that then it’s their own choice as to where they draw the cost/benefit line.

I suspect, like many who champion this line of thought, you occasionally buy something, but illegally download & utilise a lot more.

ofcourse i may be wrong & you may indeed be a one in a million guy who goes away & buys everything he likes / wants / listens to legally… :roll:
