I never like to see anyone lose a job or go out of business, but it seems the pricing was a big weakness

Lovely build, Bet it rides amazingly well down the hills! I envy you!

Id have black rims & a plain saddle myself like

Comment on not looking quite right, he obviously a Tall guy & its a big Bike, plus saddly is dropped just makes angles look a bit funny! same problem for all ‘Big’ Bikes.

I never noticed any handling issues, but I always use decent premium branded tyres. Cheap tyres are a false economy in my experience. It is probably the best handling front drive car I’ve had. Far superior than a mk3 or 4 Golf. You’d be daft to get a MK 3 or 4 golf over a Focus. It just isn’t as good a car in any way shape or form apart from the VW status.

    +1

MKV golfs they were back on form!

dont think you can beat the focus for all round VFM, its a sensible choice!

Possibly, Tim, I rode out and back from Ladybower on 9th June

Sadly that pink frame is approaching retirement. Got a ScandAl lined up to replace it but it’s in such good condition I might keep it black for a while.

Just checked Strava & thats the day we rode it! haha thats what that bike does for you!

Dropbox for work material (non sensitive), great syncing work & personal mac’s & PC’s as well as mobile devices.

Our work one is 1.4tb which is obviously bigger than our hard drives anyway!

Crosby Resident here, as mentioned above, Crosby, Formby, Maghull, Ormskirk all nice areas to Live, but not ideal for a student, away from Uni Campus & social circles that come with student life, not recommended on this occasion.

I would also rule out the wirral, not worth the effort & the additional costs of commuting will be noticed by a student living away from home

Good advice about south of city centre / sefton park above, but Im going to recommend Living in the city centre itself. I used to Live in a new build tower on the waters edge, city centre, not cheap ill grant you, but nowhere nice is! there were quite a few students in our building but we never had any trouble, secure parking, 24hr concierge! if i was a student in Liverpool now, its where I would look first!

‘He’s a nutter this guy you know’ I said

‘I’d be nuts if i knew what he knows’ was his reply

That anti gravity technology was perfected years ago but (similary) was all covered up so the public could continue being charged for flights. According to him back to the future hover boards are a reality.

    Outstanding!! :D

I have one ta, it’s got heated seats and evrifink. (It is also a bit better than a 3 series )

Do you have to have your sense of humour removed to drive a BMW too?

Think you missed my obvious joke reply, it worked in getting a rise anyway ;)

You have to tell us now whats better than a 3 Series???

i just dont see why we have to dress like batman or robin, to cycle to work, or to cycle for transport.
have you ever been to holland or denmark?
people ride far more than we do, and get along fine wearing normal day to day clothes.

Cycling in the Uk is not like cycling in Holland or Denmark though is it?

Anyway whats the point in taking an idealogical view point, deal with the here & now, its safer, simple as that…
