Ignore the above post after a bit of research I think the integrated cups where the bearings sit in must be worn so basically the bike is knackered

Never ride much since last November due to doing up daughters house, been furloughed since early April so went out on my 11 year old hard tail just round the country lanes, ended up buying a gravel bike which I have been on nearly every day since and living it but now thinking about getting back on my full suss bike when we’re allowed to travel, it’s all brilliant

I think I got a bargain, bought my On One Free Ranger from Planet X on Easter Monday, £1499 but there was 10 % off on Easter weekend so £1350, got it two weeks later, not they are up to £1699 and you can’t get them until the end of June

I will give them a few more days and if no better I will split another bottle between them, thanks for your help 👍

They’re 47 wide and I’ve tried the soap suds, putting it on its side and all that, I had a mountain bike tyre which was always soft when I went back to it so I put another bottle into it and it cured it but that was over a year since the last time I’d done it, I just thought one bottle would be enough but maybe not , tyres are 650 b 47 wide gravel tyres

Got force on my new free ranger 1×11 had SRAM years ago 2007 and it was rubbish and have been a Shimano man ever since, went for SRAM force after reading 9 and 10 out of 10 reviews and it seems ok, shifters taking a bit of getting used to but only had it a week 👍

Seen an awful lot of casual (new)cyclists today and loads of them with no helmets, seen about 10 bikes holding a bus up and not one of them had a helmet on,

We’ve got some tick drops for the dogs so I’ve rubbed some of that on the back wheel 🤞

Just done a bit of research on other forums and it points to the valve problem, going to put collars on them until I go tubeless

What’s a rim joiner, excuse my ignorance

    timberjack

No valve collar on it, I took the tyre off and put it back on and the noise seems to have stopped 🤞, I have never had a bike with no valve collar on , is it possible the valve has been catching slightly on the rim and making a noise

It’s not the brakes as it does it with the brakes on and it does it free wheeling and when pedalling and I would say it clicks with each rotation of the wheel

I am 6 foot and was wary of buying the medium frame which was advised so I got in touch with them and they said it was the right size.I got the bike on Monday and it feels right. Really loving it now that I have got the creaking stopped 😁

Ordered an On One Free Ranger off them on Easter Monday and it arrived yesterday I had a worry as the size chart advised a medium and as I always go for large (I’m 6 foot)I was a bit worried, I contacted them via their messenger service and after a couple of try’s they advised me the measurements were right so I ordered a medium and got to say it’s a perfect fit, was a bit worried after reading the Trustpilot reviews but I was able to follow the status of my order with my account on their website until Saturday when I couldn’t log in any more (more worrying) but got an e mail in Sunday saying it was being dispatched and then a text off the courier on Monday morning giving me an hour slot and it duly arrived, so definitely worth it also ordered a few extra s , bottle cages, pedals etc and changed the bar tape and saddle so can’t see any reason why you won’t be able to get another set of wheels, good luck

We had a 14 year old black lab, Henry and he got thinner and thinner and then he just collapsed one night so it was a no brainier to put him to sleep, I am. 16 stone woodcutter and i was crying like a baby but as with your dog, he’d had an excellent life and it was his time, we now have 2 more labs and sooner or later we’ll have to go through it again but I wouldn’t be without them

I have had 5 combo,s over the years and currently have one of the new shape ones basically a re badged fFiat which has been a bit of bother but basically good van however I never had a 1.7 my last one was a 1.3 cdti 57 plate which was a good van and it went really well so the 1.7 should be good, only issues I had was a water pump and an alternator belt

I tried 2 bikes at my lbs which is owned by a mate i ride with, he charged me £50 for the demo, 2 weeks later i was riding at GT and there was an Orange demo day and Alpine bikes were knocking 15% off, + other freebies, I rang my mate up to see if he could come anywhere near the price but he couldn’t so i bought the bike from Alpine bikes, i felt really really bad for not buying from my mate but it was a no brainer for the price, the only thing that made me feel a little less guilty was the fact he charged me for the demo, ps we’re still mates

My wife said i could have a new bike for my 50th but it is a year away so i have convinced her i am getting old and i should really get it now as i would be wasting a year of my life, got the nod tonight to order it only trouble now is i’ve got £3500 to spend and i’m not sure what to buy

I tested a 5 two weeks ago but it was only a medium and it was set up too soft so it wasn’t a true reflection of the bike, will try a large next month at a demo day and then decide, i tried a gyro which i really like but want something a bit special as i am going to be too old for this malarky before long

was up there last year up past the base of ben lawers and up to a dam and a reervoir, found a nice bit of singletrack which led through a forest plantation and then through the bracken back to the main road, it was really good but short, just thought there must be more up there, i will just have to explore or take my road bike and go round loch Tay

Me and my better half were out today for an hour and a half in Kielder forest with our 2 year old lab, wind rain and it was just what i needed, off to the lakes on the 2nd for a proper ride with the lads

My old lab has just died at 14 and a half years old and he was excellent to run with me on the bike, he would run for hours until he was about 8 years old, he was working stock and very slight, the one we have now is huge and he had a really bad knee as a pup {bacterial arthritis ] so an hour is enough for him, gorgeous dogs though
