Although I don’t suffer from Migraines, the abortive relief I take for my Cluster Headaches is primarily used for your type of headaches.
As mentioned by mama and others its called Sumitriptan

Also available as a nasal spray which acts faster, but that is only obtainable from a doctor and if really urgent can also be adminstered as an injection.

Best bet would be to see a neurologist who could suggest other treatments

I have the K200D’s predecessor (K100D Super) and am finding it a very decent camera.
Seems well built, good picture quality and personally like the AA batteries which is very unusual in a DSLR (Nimh rechargeables last for ages)

Can’t compare to Nikon or Canon, but did read that you are unlikely to buy a bad DSLR from one of the reputable camera makers, so if the price is right, go for it I reckon

From my recent experience the secondhand market is fairly strong and prices certainly don’t drop anything like 50%

Think you will pay strong money for a G9 or G10 and there are probably better value for money cameras out there.
Both fairly large and relatively heavy, the Panasonic LX3 gets good reviews and well worth a look

Forgot the smiley out on my post, all one big happy family really and strange how we all unite when a scot starts giving England a slating 😀

Why do so many Northerners come south and then moan about it so much?

If its so marvellous where they come from, either stay there or go back.

Must say i’m not that happy when I do have to go up north, but its not usually from choice and I get back home asap.
Don’t agree about the beer either, nothing wrong with a nice pint of Youngs and a damn sight better than all that frothy crap.

Nice cranks, but the octalink version use a specific XTR octalink BB which is probably now hard to get and expensive

Think these also had the finish that wears off in about one ride, so if appearance is important to you, look elsewhere

It was the lack of auto focus motor in the body that put me off the D40

Went for a Pentax in the end,had IS and anti dust gizmo with the bonus of loads of older lenses that are compatible.
Intend to use the kit lens for a while until I really know what I need and my photographic skills are honed a bit(lot)

They are currently giving 50 quid cashback on the Pentax KM although I got a different model s/hand
Unusually for a DSLR it takes AA’s which you may or may not like and apparently gets over 1000 shots from them. I prefer them for the availability and a good set of 2500 mAh cells lasts for ages

Had this problem for years with the ignorant church goers to the catholic church opposite my house.
My side entrance is a small lane with a dropped kerb and even now the council have put a white line to show its an entrance they still block it

Really bad this time of year because they are gagging for it with the run up to Easter, apparently the old bill can do nothing unless you cannot get back in as opposed to getting out.

No answer to peoples ignorance, good luck, but fear you are going to be wasting your time

Been having great fun with my compact (Canon A720) since I started messing with aperture and shutter speeds
Was very chuffed to get a picture of a 125 train going at full pelt that was clear and not a blurred mess

Sure a DSLR would give better pics and more adjustment, but not sure whether lugging all the gear would be put me off
Looked at more expensive compacts like a Canon G9 or 10, but didn’t see a discernible difference to my own much cheaper camera

Think this could get to be an expensive hobby and sort of telling myself I don’t need a DSLR, but that could be as pointless an argument as I don’t need another bike

I work in there exchanges nearly every day and if the company is as disorganised as there exchanges are then you have my deepest sympathy

In what way are they disorganised? Positioning of racks, cabling runways or just general layout of the building.

All this just reminds me how much I hate being office based these days

Spent a good part of my working life supervising roadworks contractors and in general apart from the odd heated argument here and there which was always settled over a pint or two after work we had a good laugh and a joke

The last few years has been spent with desk jockeys and they are for the most part so easily offended and acutely sensitive. All this old crap about not showing them any respect in front of others if you mention they have messed up.

It seems the men are far worse than the women especially the middle aged gents. Just tell this bloke to mind his own business and don’t go poking about if you are that easily offended.

Tape over the flash or if its a pop up tape it down, not much you can do about the focus
At least its working, could be much worse faults if you can’t afford a new camera

Just remembered about them, don’t think you will find anything cheaper though to be honest
I paid 20 quid for my set and any that appear on Ebay fetch a goodly price due to their rarity value

From what iv’e heard the springs are next to useless and when you think about it they would be
Shame their isn’t an air cartridge available like the Englund’s you could get for RS forks

    TijuanaTaxi
    Free Member

I am sure you’ll be able to get a coil that fit inside the fork. Will work so much better

No they won’t unless you fancy having a pogo stick on the front of your bike

You could try these people who i think have got Mani 1 elastomer kits
    http://www.suspensionforkparts.com/Home_Page.html

Hope you get sorted out ok

    TijuanaTaxi
    Free Member

If they are Mani 1’s or 2’s reckon you wil be unlucky. You can get springs, but they have no top out elastomer and by all accounts are crap
People have tried to use various substitutes to no avail, if you do find some make sure you don’t use lithium grease, that’s what turns them all gungy

I managed to find some NOS for my 2’s from a canadian chap, but that was pure luck and there doesn’t seem to be many around now.

If they are 3’s or 4’s, think I may know where they are available, so get back to me if that’s what you are after

Second the Edinburgh Revolution, very good for the money apart from the bag not being waterproof (seams not taped)
Great for travelling too as it folds up and goes in the bag and you can always buy a genuine BOB bag if you want to

There are some actual facts on this thread and some complete bollocks too

The speed does to some extent rely on the distance from the exchange, also the cable conductor size and in some much rarer cases whether its copper or aluminium.
It states up to 8meg, not that it will be

BT have never been allowed to lower prices due to restrictions placed upon them or to roll out some technology that has been available to them for some time. All this was done in the name of fairness to other operators who doubtless would never want or have afforded to maintain an obsolete and decaying network.

You may or may not have heard about something called 21CN, this should hopefully make the copper based PSTN and ADSL technology a thing of the past and bring speeds up to a level unseen before and also make VOIP the way we communicate in the near future

I admit BT have made mistakes especially with their customer care, but when you have a workforce decimated by over 50% and the ever present pressure from the city and shareholders to make more profit its no wonder something had to give.

I meant Canon G10 not G5 in my reply, told you I might be talking bollocks

    TijuanaTaxi
    Free Member

Moon on a stick request I reckon

Panasonic LX3 seems to get good reviews for image quality, but from what iv’e read and heard nothing gets that close to DSLR quality

Was debating getting a Canon G5, but it seems that the quest for more millions of pixies just causes image problems with a small sensor

Think I will stick with my cheapo Canon A720 and accept the compromise

Good luck with your search and I could be talking absolute bollocks which someone better informed will surely correct me on

If you want to race the bikes you mentioned are not really suitable, suppose it depends how serious you are about competing.

Merlin XLM would be the ideal Ti race bike
