Should have just refused to let them stay citing the right to refuse to serve anyone
Can hardly take anyone to court over an assumption, just as easy to say that room had a leaky bog or some such spurious excuse

Can’t blame them, I wouldn’t want anyone from Huntingdon staying in my house either

The Abyss especially the last half hour with the bloke just descending down and down and down

The Deer Hunter was also very tedious, but fell asleep so suppose it could have got better, but I doubt it

Amadeus didn’t get that at all, can’t really say if it was bad, but not my cup of tea

Alternatively why can’t men cut a fork steerer straight without a cutting guide

Seen some right lash ups and can’t see how they would fare any better than their missus with a loaf

I can’t understand how his brief keeps on about how he would have been entitled to it and more if he had gone about it legally.

Its not a bit of extra bunce, but reimbursement for money you have actually paid out, so how could he ever have got anything for living in houses he and his family already owned

I was amazed at the arrangements for holidays this Christmas- did we really need those extra days awarded?

Why have any holidays at all, we can just work till we die, your employers must love you with that attitude

Had mine back in October, slight reaction as usual, but as an asthmatic I really wouldn’t want full blown flu
Had a chest infection over xmas and that was bad enough, definitely worth having the shot especially if you are in the at risk category

Sorry my picture taking routine is obviously very different to others then, so not really understanding the problem

I usually take the shots, download to pc or laptop, back up to external hard drive then clear the card mostly by formatting in camera

Even so can’t imagine a camera would auto format without some sort of user confirmation being required

Black Sheep is a decent drop of beer, but not so keen on the other two since they fell into the clutches of Greene King

Why not just format it in the camera anyway, not exactly a long process at less than a minute, perhaps i’m missing something, but what harm can it do?

Best way to make sure its clean and you get the full amount of memory space, once I have backed up my pics I always use it for deleting too

You should format it in the camera you want to use

Sorry to sound harsh about your existing lenses or at least two of them anyway
The 70-300mm will suffer the most especially at the tele end and still surprised they bundle the 17-85mm as the kit lens. Wasn’t great with the 50D and 15mp, so will fare worse at 18mp as some 7D owners have already found

Still think you need a standard type kit lens, always nice to have something versatile. The new Canon 15-85mm IS seems to get good reviews and gives a good range, also consider the Sigma 17-50 OS as well

Good lenses do make a big difference and I stand by my recommendation of the Canon 17-55mm IS, I wasted money buying others before i finally bought one and found it a marked improvement.
Admittedly I do not own any primes apart from a 400mm for wildlife, but between the 17-55mm and a 10-22mm I haven’t found myself wanting for anything else.

They haven’t taken losing the Ashes series too well have they?

Make her feel at home, few tins of lager, bit of Rolf on the stereo and Neighbours on the telly

Sell the first two, add the 350 quid and buy the Canon 17-55mm f2.8 IS, the finest lens in that range and would do the 60D justice. It would be ideal for your street photography especially in low light, lightning fast AF too

Your first two lenses will struggle with the 18mp and you will notice the weakness in them far more than on your current camera

Was just about to say Nikon 3100, as it seems neither of you know much about DSLR’s this one has a decent help menu and is therefore a bit more user friendly

Bin men are useless, leave the wheely bin halfway down the road or blocking the pavement. Always did tip the postie, had a new one or several the past six months and one bloke in particular is a miserable old git, doesn’t even reply if wished good morning

    So no, not this year

No reason you can’t return it for the feet problem, just ask for a refund as the goods are not as ordered
No argument there if its clearly shown on the order form, if they come from China not like they can offer a replacement here and now

Some of the magazine type books that they sell in WH Smiths are very good
Usually produced by the monthly photo magazine titles and are usually up to date, not bad value for around 7 quid or so

Shame you didn’t post earlier got a couple you could have had for free, still can if you are anywhere near Cambridge, but bit late to post for Wednesday I reckon

Any Deep Purple worth getting into?

Machine Head and the live double Made In Japan would be my pick
    **nearly forgot In Rock**

Also Argus from Wishbone Ash is another classic, twin lead guitars and unforgettable guitaring on Throw Down The Sword

Rainbow’s Rising is definitely the best studio album, closely followed by their live effort Onstage, anything after Long Live Rock And Roll is inferior commercial pap

Rainbow with their superb album “Rising”

All have to start somewhere, if everyone refused to deal with zero feedback bidders nothing would ever get sold or bought.

Some of my best buys have been from total newcomers and always give people a chance like they gave me some years ago

I have tried Gabapentin as a preventative for my Cluster Headaches, didn’t do much of anything and that was four tablets three times a day.
Supposed to be for Epilepsy, but gets used for nerve pain like shingles too.

    Rainbow “Rising”
Still listen to it all the time, just the finest heavy rock album ever made, Blackmore and Dio at their best

Also still enjoy Big Country “The Crossing” some great tracks with that very distinctive sound
About to be heard again soon when they tour with Mike Peters on vocals, looking forward to it very much

Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash, Black Sabbath, Scorpions, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, Bad Company and best of all Rainbow

Still forms the best part of my listening pleasure and some great gigs that decade too

Nikon for big man hands Canon for little lady hands.
    Or so I found anyway.

Maybe the case with the xxxD range, but definitely not with the xxD ones, my 40D is a big old lump and certainly wouldn’t suit “little lady hands”

Currently off sick after months of agro, freaked out at a team meeting and internal disciplinary charges for abusive and threatening behaviour when/if I ever go back.

Final straw was being told we could no longer have a kettle, seems minor, but straw that broke the camels back after changes in hours, pension and generally being treated like a piece of shit

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ha. No idea in this particular case, but salespeople are not generally known for their honesty!

Totally agree, but in this case it was more likely to mean it would put off a potential buyer so would have to assume its correct.

    TijuanaTaxi

No they don’t unless the product is faulty, I clearly mentioned “not satisfied”

Returns unless faulty are not statutory, more of a goodwill gesture

Very much doubt the salesperson would say that if it wasn’t true
