    Thanks Guys – much appreciated.

I think I’ll go for wider rims.  Probably better in the long run even though I tend to run at higher pressure  –  30 – 40psi

    cheers

What Ro5ey said…. well worth the extra expense/hassle to avoid compensation/conviction at a later date.

A swift redesign and a couple of days work will sort that.

    Best wishes

Viewranger is good. Automatic route generation between 2 points is a handy feature.

I bought an Avanti Giro 3  – love it. Comfortable over long days  – 50-36 chainset  11 – 32 cassette  perfect for an slightly overweight old man!

I would consider a cross bike now with maybe a spare set of wheels

Another Vango Airbeam here.  As said it’s a 10 minute erection – long enough these days – and can be done solo!

great bit of kit if staying for a few days – storage, wind blocker  – we sometime sleep in it in hot weather too.

Thanks for your offer – ideally we’d like to be reasonably close to the coast but still in the forest. I am aware some sites have minimal facilities but we would like showers/toilets etc.

Hope to do some biking – easy stuff to accommodate other half!  Short walk/bike to the pub would also be good!!

Hoping to be there first week/10 days in July.

    Any advice appreciated

    Many Thanks

Liked Carragher as a player and thought he was a decent guy……..oh dear!

Was it the driver who filmed him?  Might be an interesting case should someone complain about using a phone whilst driving?

If you do go with OSB – take the time to paint/varnish any cut edges.

If you can locate the fan on an external wall then bore a 100mm hole and vent directly that way. More efficient but probably more expensive?

Tanalised rough sawn timber for the base – treated CLS for the walls/roof – treated cladding for sides. For the roof use OSB but paint the edges before fitting and cover with good quality felt.
