I think it's just an application form – I have my SIPP through them which was pretty easy.

You could have had an hour with Rooneys hooker for that.

Maybe this is the deal that should be made? 'Son if you stop using the phone I'll make sure you get laid once a month.'

All sounds far too complicated for me – there can't be many people who pay much on calls/BB beyond the fixed monthly cost can there?

How do we define rich? Anyone not on benefits?

Not noticed that but my Gran recently told me she drove in the middle lane which I told her was wrong – she then said she doesn't drive on those roads any more anyway – she's 90 you know…. To be fair I don't think they had 3 lane roads when she learnt to drive and took her test.

As much as you may not want to subscribe to it if you take Boris Johnson and put him in a council estate and he won't fit in.

barnsleymitch – perhaps it was marrying a 'posh bird' that is wrong in his opinion? Who cares what he thinks anyway?!

Well some say it's the language you use – if you use a toilet or eat dessert you ain't never gonna be upper class no matter how rich you is.

Is the problem not with employers and employees getting the tax code wrong rather than the IR?

Would be simpler if we all had to do an online tax return.

I agree with many of the above but I've been a RHCP fan since the late 80s and I don't the Blood Sugar is all that great – some great tracks for sure but some filler IMO.

Black in Black isn't my favourite AC/DC album but I agree no filler.

REM's – 'Automatic for the people' and 'Out of Time' come close.

American sitcoms are the best these days. I prefer the American version of The Office (after the 1st series) to the UK one, I think the actors are funnier really – certainly Steve Carell is far better than Ricky Gervais.

1/2 day – temp job, was told it was office work so I turned up in a suit to find loads of others there in jeans, we had to fill envelopes for a massive mail shot. Was a few days work but didn't go back.

I have small hands so I could get away with being a woman? Trouble is I'm so masculine inside I should get my body changed to look like a lumberjack or something.

BTW, you know what small hands means? Yeah I get cheap cycling gloves when retailers sell them off as they only have the weird sizes left.

tiger – why "more than we should" still far less than most competitor countries

We spent more than we raised in tax – should have raised more or spent less.

Under Labour we spent more than they should, under the Tories we're gonna spend less than we should. It all balances in the end….

    The eggs were too small…

I didn't get that bit – whilst the average housewife might not want them there are many other egg users – e.g. cake producers – who would like them at a nice price.

Holyhead has been dying for years really despite attempts to get people to go there such as a big metal bridge from the port over the busy road. From what I can see the centre is becoming more residential – nothing worse than boarded up shops.

The remake of the Chili Peppers song about their band members OD

Well it wasn't really, it was about Keidis's drug taking – Knock me down was about Slovak's death.

The BBC version was OK really though not sure how much it cost of our money ;) Not sure what to think about Susan Boyle really – not her fault the way she's been promoted – does she deserve to be more promoted than so many other decent singers?

Not sure what athlete / sport would win a supoerstar type fitness competition.

Well I remember something back in the 90s that tested various sportsmen in specific tests rather than sport events like superstars and an American footballer won that. Oh well….

Once it's failed you can only drive it when taking it to be re-tested. Also, insurance wouldn't cover a car with a failed MOT.

Will cost thousands to get rid of them – he has 16 squeezed in there somehow. I would love to see how big they could get if left a few more years but if they're not taken down he may be found strung up from one before too long.

Also mortgages can be an expensive way of borrowing money as you'll be paying interest for perhaps 20+ years.

Not really but there's no point owing money that you could pay off assuming your mortgage is costing you more than the benefit of having the cash.

I think mortgages are great but then mine's costing me 0.99% and I have an offset one so can pay off or borrow as I want. That sort of flexibility is lovely.
