The threat of the use of these bought about the end of the 3rd Heathrow runway don't you know – power to the people.

So it's maybe more dangerous than some guns but doesn't need a license. Excellent.

What you should do is only notice that 1 needs filling each visit ;)

Not sure why dentists do as well as GPs – that's a tougher and more important job isn't it? I don't go to dentists anyway….

I suppose the barriers to entry to become a dentist are high so supply and demand means they can charge more. So the answer is to train more dentists right?

Some fans have to hand in their passports when matches are on abroad; seems some should be locked up as an extra precaution.

I think you will find that Jim at Seasonally etc. has ceased trading.

    Really? Shame that.

I had a pee in a ditch in France, should probably have looked first as disturbed one of these – nearly 2 metres long.

I say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, art in the mind of the creator.

Anyone here got an opinion on Kyffin Williams?

1 or 2 – my wife causes me more financial problems than the recession has so far but things will get worse so who knows what will come?

I reckon these are good value for less than £20:

I'd say worth discussing the reasons that you are unhappy with your boss; if wanting to keep you this badly may well make some changes for you.

Maybe most of us are just a bit too old for him? Like Lenny Henry, you grow out of him….

There's far too much choice out there.

Hasn't Chiles just got into the big league? Well lured away from BBC anyway. The shows he does now aren't my thing but I used to like him on Working Lunch years ago.

I used a variety of review sites and ended up with this 6 months ago:

Happy with it so far, seems well designed.

So what are good racing tyres for more demanding conditions? What sort of weight is sensible to get something that lasts?

He may be most known for Star Trek for those that watch such things but he is known for being an uncommonly good actor by those that care.

Patrick told him off for looking bored and then checked that his name was James; making a good point IMO.

I don't really want to defend Corden as he holds little appeal for me but…Picard started it right?

You either get that Chewing Gum is an homage to 80s bubblegum pop (the clue is in the title, guys!) and appreciate it as a good 3 minute pop song with a throwaway metaphor and a Scandi blonde wiggling her arse in the video…or you're a po-faced 6Music-listening Mojo-reading IT spod

A good 3 minute pop song? Just who is this song aimed at anyway?

I think the best thing about them is that they are the fairest for both lender and borrower. In the olden days(!) some borrowers would jump around taking the intro offers whilst others just stayed with a lender and paid more than they perhaps should. Harder to move around now.

My boss and I are similar in income but radically different in how we spend it. Her house isn't very appealing IMO but she drives a newish Z4 whereas I have a battered Puma.

I've had one for years – 1/2% over base with Woolwich. I got one as I can't be bothered to manage my money in an efficient manner so I know that all the money in my current a/c is reducing my mortgage without me doing anything so very efficient. Probably only really worthwhile if you have lots of money saved each month from your income of irregular lump sums.

brown was a brilliant thatcherite able to do this and keep inflation down(something the tories always wanted but could never manage)

Well it ain't that low now.

OK I'm leaning towards a C-Max but the Roomster seats can slide backwards and forwards, sideways and lie flat which I don't think the C-Max can do quite as well?

    tiger_roach

i can recommend a ford cmax.

Tell me more. My current opinion is Roomster more practical and C-MAX more fun to drive and still quite practical – seats not as flexible.

    did they lie?
Not entirely – they did the spend bit but didn't go far enough with the taxing to cover the spending. If they had then people would have wised up earlier.

Well they did put an unlimited extra 1% on NI but didn't carry it through really. But then we wouldn't have had the boom if they'd really taxed us as needed….

Tax and Spend – Labour said they wouldn't be returning to that approach when we voted them in back in 97; did they lie?

Just in case of what? The chickens go all 'Dawn of the Dead' on ya ass?

I am considered a hero by my chickens – a dog got into the garden causing them to go mad, I ran over and wrestled it to the ground then dragged it out to the road.

I keep my garden fork next to my chicken pen just in case….
