I was there about 8 this morning. Saw all the triathletes near the school so parked at the bottom of icr. Went upto the pike, San Marino and back up, kennel run and icr . Hardly saw a sole. Saw the triathletes on the bikes once I was back in the car.

Great time to get out!! Ha

Looks like you need an xl 29er to me.

You need to measure the width of your chain stays to make sure the ccrank arms miss them. 168or156 =inside crank arm to inside crank arm i think

No problem Chestercopperpot (the goodies = best kids/adults film ever made.

I did the rooley Moor Road climb today and didn’t think it was that bad. The best bit was the decent to Lee quarry.

The wind was cold but it was the strength of it that was hard work. One gust knocked me off. Wasn’t much fun with the snow drifts either, couldn’t get any rhythm going cos as soon as you hit the snow you just stopped.
Lee quarry was just wet!! Very wet!!

Got a vapour storm myself. Great fit and very breathable. Not had it on in the rain yet though. They also come up on sports pursuit for just over £100 quite regularly. Can’t comment on the others sorry

It’s called Garn fadryn. But doesn’t look very big on Google maps so don’t know if it’ll be worth it unless it’s only round the corner.

Climbed a small mountain, could be just a hill there a couple of years ago and thought it would be good on the bike. I’ll find out what it’s called give me a couple of mins

One tip is to try them on and try a few. I tried one and thought it was a good shape for my head and comfy until I tried the next one. The fit is much more important than how it looks

slx just voted best brakes in MBUK mag. Got them myself, never had any problems easy to bleed and powerful. People say deore are almost as good though. Depends how much you wanna spend.

I started with a 34t on the front but have gone down to 32t as I was using the bigger rear cogs to much, but now with the 32t I can climb without using the lowest gear.(most of the time). Using 11-36 on the rear. Really depends how fit you are. I’d stick with what you have and see how you go on

I’ve had Easton haven for a couple of years now and after swapping the Easton putty bearings they have been faultless. They’re light and the rims are excellent. I hit the edge of a flagstone with the rear at speed (well I think at speed) burst the hans danmf and I thought the rim had smashed but no! Not a mark on the rim but a wrecked tyre

Was chased by a dog myself yesterday. It was stupidly trying to bite my back tyre whilst I was going at full pelt trying to get away. Dread to think what would of happened if it had managed it. Probably dead dog and me flying off the bike.

Remember my wrists hurting when I did a 78 miler. I’d get a flexible bar and some ergonomic grips. Oh and some good padded shorts for the arse
