Nearly bought one myself but went for an Eve mattress. They’re online only and you have 100 days to decide wether it’s for you. If not you can send it back. £600 but the wife found a voucher online for £50 off
I got a camelback from there years ago for almost half price. Not seen any in there for a bit though so they might not stock them anymore. But worth keeping an eye open
My boy has a frog 52 and he’s never off the thing. Had it 18 months now and not had a problem with it. Grips are getting a bit worn now but that’s it. He regularly does 10 milers down the canal on it.
My slx brakes where the same so I’ve just got some kevlar pads from superstar and they are superb. 20% off the finned pads with a code which is on their website. Ordered them Tuesday night and they were delivered Thursday morning.
Been looking at this myself. I’ve heard that you can get a flight over pay in euros have a couple of nights out and fly back with the bike for the same as it would cost here
I came off on the bottom section of stage 1. Over shot a jump and landed on my chest and elbow. Badly winded and very sore elbow but managed to finish. Feeling very sorry for myself today. Great day though. Think I’ll be having nightmares about the top of stage 1.
Never pay any parking fine unless it’s it’s from the police or council. I’ve had loads of letters threatening court but just ignored them and nothing happens
My Easton hubs started to wobble and it was down to the bearings in the free hub body so I changed them and now it doesn’t. Probably the same with yours. I’d check them out anyway
Never been in myself but keep meaning to since moving down the road from it. There is a road at the side of the high school with a footpath sign and think you can get in there.
Hi tim just back from the lakes. Keswick looked a good place to stay, lovely place with plenty to do and whinlatter close by for the riding. Plenty of things for the kids at whinlatter ttoo. I went riding for 3-4 hours(took my time) and the wife and kids (aged 5 and 8 ) had fun while I was gone. The weather helped as you can see
b r. The cafe is at the car park. Behind the toilets sort of. From the toilets just walk towards the road and it’s to the right. Looks like you’re going into someones house and the cafe is in the conservatory. Hope that makes sense
Sorry dogsby only just seen your post. Went yesterday (Thursday) and some company would have been good. Really enjoyed it, did the slab watched by a few locals Who I thought had done it only to find out all but 1 had bottled it. Will try and put some pics up later
Off up there myself with the family for the week and gonna get out for a ride. Whinlatter is looking good for me to get on the bike whilst keeping the kids and wife entertained. I’ll let you know how I get on
