Stick a piece of old bike chain in your right sock and leave the other end trailing the ground

Focus Cmax with 1.6tdci (110HP) here. Great for bikes and has a towbar so can get 4 bikes, gear and 4 burly bodies and still pulls like a train.

Back, when I were a lad, sidelights were small and seperate from the headlight. These 5 watt lamps actually made cars easy to see. The newer version, where the 5 watt sidelight is embedded in the headlight doesn’t give good visibility.
So, I drive with dipped beam to be seen by, M’lud.

Aye, there are never any access issues or arguments in our neck of the woods, eh?

IMO That ruling fails to follow the spirit of the OA code.

Would have been better if the ruling had excluded both parties from the river until they found a resolution. I reckon they’d have quickly got talking to each other.

I tried a 125mm fork on its predecessor, the NRS. It made it handle quite differently and not always for the best.

Cant help on the cardio front. But saw this cube 29er ebike[/url]and wondered who would benefit from it. I had a wee spin on the hybrid version at my LBS and was really impressed with how light it pedalled.

I know what you mean about finding the sweet spot when climbing. I have a Cube Reaction – appropriately named. Finding that sweet spot takes a bit of learning. Its also quite lively on the rough stuff, so means you have to hone your skills. But it has its advantages, as its a really fast xc bike.
In comparison I have a Dialledbikes Prince Albert that has a huge climbing sweet zone.

Went looking for one yesterday. They seem to either be in big demand or manufacturers are poorly prepared.

Good deals on Playbook atm. Saw demo one in Cuurys/PCwelt looks impressive from resolution/speed/smoothness/robust feel. Lots of features including GPS. Lack of apps seems to be the biggest concern as it has a unique OS.
None in stock in this area though.

The Samsung is a bit more expensive and similar spec, but runs the Android OS. For that reason its probably more desireable. Again none in stock in this area.

Archos looks good on paper, best VFM, but there were concerns over flimsy build on early ones. Again none in stock here.

Ended up going for the Motorola Xoom, it’s a bit bigger, but it was in stock and got a good price.

Try puting the crank arms of the outer bikes against the rack’s risers. This creates more space between them.

head injuries resulting in hospitalization are characterized by a very short average time of stay

Spent 5 hours on a friday night at A ‘n E waiting to get stitched back together.
Everybody else that came in after me was in need of more urgent attention for sure .
Decades on, I still remember that feeling after I reached round the back of my head and gave it a rub, then realised my fingers were under my scalp.
I don’t want to repeat either experience.

Standard spring in the Uturn Lyric that came with my Remedy.
    It has compression adjust too.
Works really well on big mountain days.
I’m 88kg and it has about 25% sag.

I have an 05 1.6 diesel CMax. Have a towbar for the bike rack.
I take the middle rear seat out. It can take 4 bikers and all their gear. 1 bike inside and 3 bikes on the rack.
It gets over 50 mpg and pulls really well even up steep hills when fully loaded. Have only changed rear discs and rear shocks – and the hatch door switch (£16). Its at 66k miles now.
My only complaint is the plastic trim gets knocked off in places and never seems to go back properly.

Been using the Philips one for over 2 years. No problems with it.
Use with blackout curtains in the summer.
I feel it makes a much nicer start to the day,so I’d recommend it.
Ours is set so the light gradually brightens, over about a half hour, then starts a dawn chorus.
Other themes and light/radio settings are available on this device too.

Had a wee bottle of Gauloise tonight. A belgian beer from Lidl. Quite nice too.
At 5.5% its more than twice the strength of my usual tipple, Sweetheart stout.

I have been using the cheap Thule one (9403) for 3 years and it does the job. Would probably go for the Buzzrack if I was buying today.

Fitter than I was ten years ago, thanks to MTBing.

I went through this a few months ago.
Our exchange is a rural one and isn’t LLU’d, so went to BT. It has been good so far with nearly 8MB dowload speed.
If your exchange is LLU’d, have a look at who has a presence.

I’d rub some toothpaste for sensitive teeth into the tooth/gum. Then I’d rub some ibuprufen gel onto the outside of the cheek. This usually works for me. You could take some paracetemol too if this doesn’t work for you.

    I put a 125 vanilla on a Giant NRS a while back.

Felt more capable over techy stuff.
Front tended to lift on really steep stuff, so took more effort putting weight forward to prevent it.
    Steering wasn’t as precise.

It has a 100mm Skareb on it again.
It now gets used for long distance offroad rides that dont have techy challenges.

To the OP; When you siad you have been away from MTBing for 8 years does that mean all forms of cycling? If so then I think any saddle is going to hurt after extended riding at the beginning until your ass starts to get used to it again.

    What Roter Stern says.
Give your muscles a chance to tone up before looking for a new saddle.

Went through this with my wife’s Clio. Found the wiring faulty to the sensor on the flywheel – RHS of engine.

Folded the wire back on itself and cable tied it.
Was fine after that – how long for? – I dont know as it was traded a couple of weeks later.

Raleigh Jeep here too. Mine had a blue frame. A steel framed, rigid singlespeed. How things go round!
And our mountains were coal bings (slag heaps).

IMO, it’s more important your timing is good when hopping Torridon’s drainage gulleys. A bigger volume tyre will help if you get it a wee bit wrong. Tubeless can be quite spectacular if you happen to get the timing really bad.
Knobbly tyres are good for the loose bits. 2.35 Nevegals or 2.2 Telonix work well for me.

Similar issue here, not moving smoothly across the small cogs. I found lubing the pivot bushes with a thin oil gets it working well for a while.
