Yep, zion would suit, had a zion and a black widow(same as toureg), and the widow ride is more compliant, zion wasn't at all bad though!

thanks guys, I've dropped Si and email. Saw the ones on ebay but I need 200mm steerer, one set on there has 165mm??! Does any bike use a steerer that short whist having 160mm of travel??

Well thanks for that, no hugely helpful though. Key question is if the kit will fit onto a speedball post rather than the joplin it is sold to fit?! while the look similar I would like to be sure before I splash out?! anyone else?

I disagree, it depends how strong you are, I've got an XT on my proII hub and have managed to mangle it with the smaller sprockets, now it might be that I'm uber strong, or that I'm overweight, but 14stone ain't that bad. Either way I'd recommend a steel freehub and the use deore rather than waste money on XT and get the hub magled anyway.

Thanks for the advice Drac, we bought it for playing blueray more tahn the games, but haven't ended up using it that much so thought we might sell it and get a bluray player instead. Cheers for taking the time to reply. Probably worth selling the game seperately?

Drac, didn't know you could get one for £200, looked on a couple of the links above and they were £250 inc a game. Sorry if I've over priced it, simple mistake !

What does the STW massive think it's worth?

I've got the older flea lights, which use an AA battery to recharge, they are really good for the size, very bright and excellent battery life, the front one is really bright for the price, brighter than my wife's 4AA cateye jobbie. Top quality construction too, thoroughly recommend them!

Nope, no problems at all, actually ended up setting it up twice, once on my wife's roadrat, who then decided she wanted bigger wheels as she's on a small frame, then on my roadrat. Worth getting specific 26" guards though, I was sold mine as 26" but think I was scammed as theya re way too big. ONly poorly fitted area is between the chainstays, it's very tight and hard to get to the bolt-hole. drop me an email and I'll send some pics if you like.

Hiya, I run mine with 26 inch wheels, very nippy round town, really fun to ride. Clearance wise it'll be fine with 2.0 tires, mine's got 1.3's on it and there's tonnes of room inside the 26inch mudguards. I'd love to have an alfine, but SS is great!

Innerhaven, not the cheapest, but lovely accommodation, and right in the centre of Innerleithen, so pubs nearby, corner inn does fantastic food. Andy and his wife are really helpful too.

how about some of the hope proIII on stans 355 rims? coming in at 1650g including rotors is pretty good, and come with outstanding hope service.

Onzadog, I totally agree, would bre great if hope made a replacement for the drop bar levers for their hydraulic brakes, I suppose it might happen if UCI decide to allow disc brakes in cyclocross one day?!

    Tiboy

Olly, I'd be happy to have the brakes jsut on the centre flat of the bars, and have no brakes on the drops, jsut unsure if the bar diamtere is the right size to clamp the lever onto the bar. don't really want to go buy a new bar to find it's the wrong size.
How reliable are BB7s? never had them or used them so have no idea on what they're like to service and how long the cables etc last commuting.

why not keep your eye out for a 2nd hand ti frame in the classifieds? for not much more than the price of a decent new steel frame there have been some very nice ti frames come up, i got my airborne black widow for jsut over 400.

what mrgreedy said, needs to be a section break, then you can do what mwleeds said and choose to continue or restart numbering, and is you desire change from 1,2,3 to i,ii,iii

Samuri, thanks for the advice, however the simple truth is that He (God) gave his only Son so that we might be saved, that is the gift he offers us, eternal life, spent in heaven with Him. Simonfbarnes, sorry if that's boring to you, but I can understand that if you don't believe in God and how amazing He is, then it would seem boring!? The subject of people who have never heard about God and Jesus is a very tricky one, and one which I can't give a definitive answer to, sorry. Best suggestion is to go on an alpha course and ask!
With respect to "who wouldn't want to do good things", what I was trying to explain is that when you believe in God you try harder to do good things and act in a way that reflects your faith. This doesn't mean people don't do good things before, people with no faith at all do amazing things for other people in this world.
Sorry if I've got athiests back's up, not my intention at all, just trying to explain that being a Christian is in no way at all dependent on what you do, it is wholly dependent on making a decision to believe in God and his son Jesus, and that Jesus died to save you.

And clubber, no you don't have to go to church to be a christian, you can be a christian and never step foot in a church. However it is strongly advised in the bible to spend time with other Christians as you can encourage each other this way, and teach each other.

Think something needs to be clarified, being a Christian isn't all about doing 'good things' to make sure you get to heaven, it's about knowing God and His love. Plus He knew none of us would make it to heaven on that premise anyway, and being as He loves us more that we can imagine, He offers us eternal life at no cost to us, all we have to do is believe in Him and accept His gift. In the knowledge of this gift who wouldn't want to 'good things'?

(For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2 v8-9)

I've been on both sides of the fence, did it when I was a teenager and asked all the awkward questions, now help run the occasionally at my church. All I can say is that in my experience they are a great place to ask questions, I've never felt there was any pressure to sign up to a church or religion. Most people I know who've done it enjoy it, and lots of people do it more than once as they still have questions. It doesn't try to push people into a religion, or even a particular brand of religion, so I wouldn't say it was part of an institution at all.
    Expecting some abuse now… :D

I've just had Stompy let me know that he thinks my pricing was too high, and I'm glad he did it, with the awful search engine on here it's hard to find out what things are worth unless people make offers, and eBay prices are ridiculously inflated. Most of my prices on stuff are guesses?!?
Anyway my point is that people should be happy to be told that there stuff might be over priced, in most cases people appreciate the advice.
