I use sainsburys rehydration powder, designed for use when you have the runs(yeh not nice), but I notice a significant improvement over jsut plain water, and has a slight blackcurranty taste. Alternatively I guess you could just use salt and sugar in your water.

I think it’s one of the composite/steel ones. steel teeth for long life, and composite support for strength and lightweight. very willing to be corrected on that though!

recommend the neoprene ones myself, take it off to clean occasionally but prevents the noise of clain slap too, well worth £8

got a 20″ airborne titanium frame for sale for £250, well used and doesn’t look shiny and new at all, but rides really well, jsut too big for me, I’m 5’11”. The ride of a Ti is even better than steel in MHO.

From what you’ve said luigi it would seem that the movement of the mech mounting is a symptom of the worn bushings, not actual failure of the casting. Sounds like it’s worth a try at extra UK. If you do decide you don’t want the hassle give me a shout, I might buy it and give fixing it a go.

Depends on whether the bushings are press fit or not, if they are they will have to be drilled out and replaced. If they are push fit then they should be easy to replace. All depends how much you like the frame really. Not sure what you mean about the cable guide though…

    what do you mean luigi1?

Yep, easy, same as on my saab 9-5, takes about an hour to do if you’ve never done them before, but would recommend reading some forums online if you haven’t to prepare you. Only tools you would need are a pair of pliers, a decently big flat head screwdriver and a hammer. Other than that the only tricky part is getting the pistons to retract, usually a G-clamp does the trick.

So what you looking for it then rich, out of interest? don’t spose u fancy a PX with a Ti airborne frame?

    Tiboy

Maybe a bit too low, I’d jump at that price too, even if it would incur the wrath of my better half! seriously though if you do sell it I would take it!

cool, well done! where u based, always looking for likebodied (fatter side of thin) people to ride with in the bristol area!

I’ve got an airborne lancaster, old school I know, but seems to combine best of both worlds, the Ti comfort and really direct power delivery. I wouldn’t recommend an airborne black widow for racing as it’s too flexy at the back. Saying all that it’s not much help as they seems pretty rare nowadays!

    or sell if anyone’s interested??
