Does your invioce tell them how long they have to settle the account?
    Mine’s “Payment within 28 days”.
Before you issue a Small Claims Court action you must warn them thus, in writing, with 7 days grace to settle the a/c.
I’m no legal Eagle, but you could do a lot worse than have a word with your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau, they’re excellent and free.
    Good luck.

I’m just building up an one-one 29 Ti frame as I type.
Maybe I’ll keep it as it is and then keep my eye out for other Ti bikes and make a call as to whether or not I go the shiney route.
I was thinking of putting some Helicopter tape on the frame too.

“I’m old school. Hit it. And say in a booming voice “No”. Don’t hit it very hard (TJ style), but enough to concentrate its attention.

Dogs are lower down the food chain than we are; therefore, teach it who’s boss. You can’t negotiate with it. “

    Correct.
Have some chews around the place too, large-ish ones, not just the hide ones.
I have 2 dogs, now 10 & 13. I’ve had dogs all my adult life and have trained them well enough to let them have free reign, no leads, no gates to the property. I am their pack leader – that’s really what they need to know. They know where they stand, what the boundaries are and what’s tolerated and what most certainly is not.
Spaniels can be a real handful / live wires and NEED huge walks.
If you assume they’ll grow out of it you’ll learn the hard way that this is no way to educate a puppy!

Hope that helps in some way.

Imagine having your lovely CF seat post shatter and slice you where the sun don’t shine!

The council have a duty of care to miantian the roads. They have people inspecting the roads throughout the year.
If they are negligent you need to consider approaching them firstly because of the poor road condition and secondly for making good the damage.
I’d have a chat with your local Citizen’s Advice office (Google and Yellow Pages) and seek their advice. They are impartial and excellent in every case I have ever spoken with them about.

I have a Pace RC301 coming up for sale shortly and I’m in Watford if it helps you.
There are various rides, clubs and 1/2 decent locations here-abouts but not what you’re used to.
The Chilterns are the best by far.
Either way, you’ll be eating off a plate with a knife and fork in no time at all, plus we have in-door loos and even gas in the homes here in the South (North London / Herts).

My best day’s training this year up at the woods below Aston Hill (what happened to the Bike Demo Day – bl$$dy whimps!) where there’s a decent hill climb on packed snow, which is no test really, but the single track was testing and interesting.
Got to be on the ball or the front (2.1 NNics) slides more than is comfortable.
In fact it was those stupid 2.3 Conti Verticals on the rear, that, whilst they grip in a straight line, breakaway all too easily everywhere else.
5 laps and I felt so much better equipped for future snow.
    Well worth the effort.
And yes, that is my pet fox, Roxy in the static shot of the Turner Flux.
