Is there a way to fit a tapered steerer in an Evo 2 frame? Or never gonna happen. Just asking as looking to swap all my 26 inch setup to a newer frame but with a new fork.

The Jam looks like maybe a goer.

I did this month ago. 4 separate accounts for£15. Bargain. I signed up and sent invites to the family members. They click on link and set up own log on, password etc. All good so far.

Ok. All good info. I learned to use a lathe during my apprenticeship, but that was 25 years ago

Hi. Yes I contacted Hope as first port of call. It is an old hub and so they don’t do one. Does no one do a simple sleeve? Or that is too simple a solution?

We will be fine though. And I do not have a vision of us being stalwarts of the British Empire but we are not a grey dreary cul de sac either. What a downtrodden view you have. It’s OK to state what you want and not be dictated to.
And yes, this has become that previous topic.

Do the remainers all imagine themselves to be enlightened beings with a greater understanding than anyone who voted leave?
We are better out of the failed socialist experiment.

Are the Leavers still being branded as racists? Jesus wept, get a grip, man up, stop crying and get on with it.
I voted leave and I am not a racist. I didn’t think anything Dyson said was racist, he just had a problem with the way the EU is, as do the majority of the voters.
The UK has not collapsed because of the Brexit result and is unlikely to do so.

Had a mate who years ago recorded a fart tape – 20 plus years ago. Still makes me smile when I recall him putting it in my car tape deck and us crying with laughter listening to 2 minutes of farts. Stupid genius.

Ok. Bit the bullet ( not 100% sure what that means, but usage is correct I think) and got a Coleman’s 4.5 metre square on price match with local tent outlet. Massive. Don’t think I would want smaller. Thanks for replies and options.

Thought Northerners were harder than shandy drinking Southerners?

Fin. Won’t happen. And I don’t fear them or those in charge. Again, they will never come in contact with normal people doing normal stuff. Reminding us who is in charge? How many were there? How many millions of Londoners? It is a response to the world we live in and the situations that arise – Germany and France. If the government did nothing and something happened, they’d be blamed as well. Not everyone running the show is out to crush ‘ the little people ‘ .
Should do a British version of the look though, it is very American.

Or perhaps just anti terror police in a very likely target ( London) and will never come in contact with normal people going about normal business. No danger here, what do you think they will do? Take over London?

Why do we have to kick out anyone who is already here? Just put some controls in on future immigration. Fairly simple and fair.

I accept the democratic decision, so what’s the plan? How do we regain our trading position? I have repeatedly asked the question of the Brexit folks and as of yet I have not received any sort of answer? It’s all well and good but we have some big problems –
    1. No manufacturing base
    2. No one in the rest of the world wants to buy our financial serices (they already have it or don’t want it)
    3. No overseas organisation will put there HQ in the UK
    4. Do we rely on designing Dyson vacuums to make a living?

Regardless of the rhetoric just how the **** are we going to make a living?

    Explain please

We will make money the same way we did a few days ago. There will be trade deal negotiations with whoever we need to in the world and carry on. Britain doesn’t just stop because we leave the EU. We will buy from them and they will buy from us. Calm down, it will be OK. If they slap on punitive import duties, it just backs up the idea that they don’t give a shit about us and we were just to be milked. I don’t believe that they will be too harsh. Plus the fact that if we are out we won’t have to shell out for the failing economies in the EU will offset this by whatever.

But no one – and I don’t care what side they are on or how qualified they are – can know how good, bad or not really any different this decision will make things in 5 or 10 years.

The main problem I see is that though the Leavers won, it still is 50/50 pretty much. So some sort of compromise would be the best solution. And that is what should be discussed.

I don’t like the all or nothing stance, life is just not like that.

She wants views and lakes. I want biking. Would think that biking would come with views, possibly lakes. So, rephrase of question – what good lift assisted mtb in Swiss and Italian Alps?

Yes, had done some investigation on a2c and chucked the numbers into a bike Geo calculator. Was looking not so good, and you just backed that up. Oh well.
