Well whadya know, decals turned up this morning after I’ve ordered another set from somewhere else. Decals are very good quality but I would never use them again. Total lack of any communication and two weeks delivery time for an off the website item. Not impressed.

Got some steel bar, and flat plate from my work, bent bar into hooks, welded to plates and drilled two holes in each. Screw n raw plug to wall. Works a treat. Or you can buy some but as I also needed 6, I didn’t fancy the expense.

I always think back to this and shake my head. I didn’t actually get injured but once I decided to fire a flare at point blank range at an old full face motorbike lid. I thought it would go straight through it. Well I didn’t think really at all. It ricocheted straight back and missed my face by inches. Burning Phosphorous propelled by a 2.2 round to the face would not have been pleasant. Idiot!

Just twizzle the adjusters on the shifter as your going along and I bet as if by magic, the ticking stops.

Well the hub wont make any noise whilst peddling as it is engaged and locked unless the pawls and springs are borked but then they would slip sporadically under higher torque load ie standing up or ascending. Do you feel a slip as if you’ve missed a gear when you give it the beans?

Chain climbing the cassette? Adjust cable tension?
