It's not just a cap, its the preloader. Pushes the arm on to the spline and preloads the bb. Without it it's not being pushed together. I know, you think the pinch bolts would hold it on but they wont with out the end cap especially if they have come loose a couple of times.

Look here numpty. You do up the end cap first. Then the pinch bolts. The pinch bolts don't hold the end cap on and the end cap doesn't keep the pinch bolts tight. They just work together. Buy a new one and try it. Jeeze.

Make sure it's ramped and not single speed and you will need 104bcd

I ride with two team qoroz riders on club rides occasionally. Bikes look lush. The boys are Fookin quick. That is all I know. 😉

6.1" and 20.5 here. feels bang on to be honest but would rather go an inch shorter than longer. It does feel quite a long bike in the twisties.
