There is a small climb in the middle of the qualifier. Wasn’t very long or particularly steep but once up it I was gasping for air and didn’t really recover until through the finish line and sat down for a minute. Managed to quallify though after pulling over for breath. Worry about cv more than arm pump. Just enjoy the experience and don’t worry about it. Your not going to win so go out and play. It’s a bonkers week.

40t bash will look big but will do the job. Personally I would get the right size or no larger than 38t but hey ho and go for a medium or short cage on a double front set up.

Me too, left big toe goes totally dead. Only thing that seams to help me is flat pedals, 5 10’s and seal skins. I think not being clipped in helps circulation.

The last time some one brought there dog out with us it kept running just by my pedals or just in front of me. At one point the thing went under me between the wheels. Eventually I ran over it’s neck. I love dogs but leave the bloody things at home. It’s fking dangerous. At trail centres any way. Natural rides is different. Some idiot took one to cannock on a busy weekend. It just pisses every one off. No one is impressed that your dog can run around a trail ffs !
