It’s just the sinking feeling of knowing that you have bought into something that will never catch on 😉

All pretty top of the range just ones with less adjustments are deemed worse

I disagree. Cheaper yes. But worse? Sometimes less is more. As with some Talas RLC’s. Some reliability issues occurred in the past with all that going on. The Talas R’s may have been more reliable.

    Got them on here.

Heavier than my 36’s. Had to spend a bit of money on them after I bought them of fleabay but now they are great. Super stiff and drop down to 120mm with remote. The Albert select is also on a remote on mine but I don’t use it. Just set and forget. The rebound is a little weak ie its all the way to plus to get just enough damping without using the Albert. A heavier weight oil would probably solve this though. If you can get some cheap and all the functions work ok, they’re a good bit of kit if you don’t mind the weight.

Alfine. Aim hose – put in shed – get in bath.
Same as A SS. Only miss out the hose part!

    And the bath 😉

Probably wouldn’t work as the braided outer make the od bigger so your existing fittings wouldn’t fit over the hose.

Ks cobra here. Great bit of kit. The clamp is far from cheaply made. It’s beefy and strong. No complains here after destroying my speed ball which in comparison was mucho crapo.

I just use a piece of 6mm rubber sheet between two bits of wood in the vice.

Not something like that, exactly that. So much so that I had to have a ly down immediately after. Stu, I have forgotten who you are. 😉

To be fair, most uk trail centres offer a ride out that doesn’t require a 5K full susser. You can ride most trails centres on any bike. The limiting factors are the speed you want to ride at and the line you want to take. If you want to wobble around half pissed and full of coffee and cake then maybe a 29er is your perfect trail bike. If you want to blat down the downy bits as fast as you can, challenging your capabilities and nerve and that’s what you drive the distance for, then the maybe the expensive bouncer is for you. Horses for courses. Personally I like to do both.

Except you’ve messed up royal. Light it up then dance around it laughing insanely.

Yes but it’s small, ice and not much good for long AM boards hence the outdoor run hunt.

Did mega on a SC Bullit. I’m just going to convert a hope pro 2 to bolt through and use a DT Swiss or cheapo super star axle. Did it on the bullet and it stiffens the rear end of a QR bike up immensely.

Oh god I love my 2010 tracer. Not sure when the new one is out but my only complaint with mine is the rear is s little flexi with a puny QR which I’m going to change to a 10mm axle. Obviously sorted with the new rear drop outs. Wouldn’t want to be buying spare G2 drop outs though. Not cheap.
