Don’t think you can use a Costco code at Halfords lol, think you mean Quidco cashback, and BC 10% discounts.

Amazing effort, was just thinking this morning that I need to do the WHW.
I also don’t feel so bad about only getting a second place to him at ’10 Under the Ben’.

Yeah I already have both, much prefer the remote on the Enduro bike.

I know what you mean about it being backwards, but this is to swap between 2 XC bikes and a fat bike.

Would go for a Thomson if I could get hold of the under saddle lever.

Currently getting quotes for stoves/installation, but unsure whether to go for a wood only or a multifuel, what are the STW opinions on this?

The climb position on my Spectral 7.9, is not a lockout, it just firms up slightly (although might get it pushed to make firmer).

My Z3 compact screen cracked after 4 weeks, £200 for a replacement screen, it seems very common.

I converted a pair of On-one Reetard rims last night using Gorilla Tape and bolt in Schraeder valves, with a bit of homebrew sealant. Worked a treat.

I have a 2.0 140BHP, get about 36-38mpg, its got a 6 speed box, the lower powered models only have a 5 speed if that bothers you.

Just chopped in a 2005 C220cdi estate with 90k. It was getting to the age where suspension bushes were wearing out, and had steering and brake problems. There was no rust and all electrics worked, auto box was nice to have, but performance and fuel economy were poor.

I used a Qring for about a year on the MTB, didn’t feel very smooth when pedalling, almost like a step machine. Didn’t notice any benefits, gone back to a round ring.

cruzcampo I have that Tiger Stove and I find it impossible to control the burn rate, the control on the front does next to nothing.

My car has a digital fuel gauge that gives you the fuel tank content in litres. Which is accurate until it gets to below 11 litres and then just displays EMPTY, at which point I have to reset the trip meter and do no more than 50 miles before filling again.

I use a Niterider 750 pro, with the battery on the helmet, its ‘just’ light enough.

I am 6ft and have a Large Spectral 29er (60mm stem BTW), I tried a Medium and it felt too cramped.

Definitely wider, but find them too short for my size.

The other problem is that the bottle cage mounts have pulled out the frame, should have raised that with On-one but didn’t.

Mud clearance is fine for normal riding, but in the few Cross races I have entered, I have had to stop and scoop the mud out with my hands, I don’t remember them being particularly muddy courses.

My previous bike was a Cotic X which had lovely big clearances.

The other problem I had was the front wheel trying to pull out when braking, had a Tune front hub and skewer, but replaced the skewer with a more substantial FSA one last night, and it seemed better.

I have had a DD for over a year, its a nice bike to ride and the geometry suits me, however I have issues with the lack of mud clearance at the chain stays and the fact that the rear brake hose mount reduces the clearance further.
    Headsets are expensive as well.

We chopped in our estate car for a T5 4 months ago, 2011 140bhp SWB.
Just completed a basic Camper Conversion on it.
I drive it everyday, average 37mpg, its easy to park, nice driving position.
Comes into its own at weekends and holidays, when we ram it full of kids and bikes and head for the hills.
My wife finds it easy to drive.
    No regrets.

Can the travel of the fork be increased to 140mm, and if so how would it ride?

I got Mouse Elbow (really), tried lots of different remedies, anti-inflammatories, straps, Powerballs, Penguin, Trackerball.
The only thing that worked for me was to share the load of my right arm by consciously using my left hand/arm more, which included retraining my brain to use a mouse lefthanded.
The only time that I get bothered now is if I do a lot of hammering, which I can’t do left handed.

I am 2 weeks in to my T5.1 ownership, its a SWB 2011 140bhp which has plenty of poke to keep up with the traffic, not filled up yet, so no idea of MPG. It drives great and can chuck it round the twisty roads.
I am going for a Campervan Lite conversion, basically enough Camper parts to allow the change of class to a Motor Caravan, but leave a big enough boot to carry a couple of bikes.
So far I have fitted roof and side rails, removed bulkhead and ply lining, fitted side windows, insulated with thermoliner, and will be carpeting at the weekend, and fitting Rock and Roll bed on Monday.
Its my everyday transport, although we also have an estate car and a couple of other toys.

My sister-in-law (unfortuneately for her) looks like Miranda, and is a source of hilarity every time I see her.
My Mother-in-law looks like Mrs Brown!

I have a metal shed for the least expensive bikes, yes it does suffer a bit with condensation, but its well ventilated and none of the bikes have rusted/corroded.
My only issue is that it has twin sliding doors, and I can’t think of a suitable way to make them secure, as a good boot with a size 10 will knock them off their runners.

I would be looking at 26ers, my 7.5 year old son is now on one, having outgrown his Carrera Blast 24. His 9 year old sister will shortly be going 26, when she stops being so cheeky.

Strava recognises a segment if you ride a certain percentage of the segment. sS what some people do is trim the start and finish of their ride so that it just long enough to qualify as the segment, which makes them faster than people who have ridden through it as part of a ride. Very Sad.

The long cage rear mech probably deflects about +/-5mm
