I use G8 Perfomance 2620’s with heel wedges to better affect than cleat wedging but
that’s just my bizarre feeet for you :)
to answer the direction question though … i use a heel wedge that is thicker on the
inside edge, nearest the crank to roll the leg outward and straighten the knee track as
    mine used to drop in.
I’ve also found that excess arch support made me “over compensate” and the knee tracked
in at the top of the stroke !
Took some late night reading, videos and emails to various sources before the solution
    was found.
I also found that wedging the spd cleat created a “rocking” sensation as the shoe was nolonger
in contact with the pedal in the normal resting state (inboard edge was lifted slightly
    clear of the pedal body)

Whilst I may not be trans, I have several friends riding and otherwise who are and they
too get shit like this. It’s uncalled for, unthinking, selfish and offensive.

There have been many occasions where I’ve wanted to “vent off” but they’ve all asked me
    not to.

I’d go along with somafunk and say try to ignore it (not that it’s going to be easy)

mine did that – it’s the limit screw …. the mech “overshifts” initially then drops

back to it’s correct place. If the screw is a touch too tight it can’t overshift far

enough so the step back to correct position means it downshifts 1 cog :)

If it’s climbing up in different places then it’s not likely to be the cassette. Have you tried using the chain

guage on the places where the chain starts climbing off ? It may not be stretched beyond replacement

n some places but buggered in others ….

36t down to a 34t should be OK. I found going the other way
Was prone to not shifting at the front if I was toward the 11
    End of the cassette.

The back of the big ring has a ramp that finished where the inner
Teeth start so putting the 36t on meant the downshift didn’t work
And the chain ended up sitting between the 2 but not jammed !!!

I’ve went down the varifocal route several years ago and loved them.
I’m quite long sighted (+4.25 etc …. but need +1.75 for upclose) so
a touch different to yours. Some struggle with the change – my wife
couldn’t deal with them at all – as you’re used to moving the eye to
look at something which means you change the “magnification” – some
    “interesting” effects there !!!
Vari’s aren’t quite as bad as bi-focal as the change is gradual
rather than “boom – reading” :)

depends on how much you want to move the rotor ?
the paper thin ones under some cassette lock rings might work ?
got shimano and hunt wheels and don’t need to re center the brakes !

Found the rigid garmin one caused read issues when I was cold
or there was a strong headwind cooling everything donw – might
have been not enough sweat ??

if the Bokeh is half the bike I suspect it is it’ll be brilliant.
I have the Definition and have to say, having ridden a few (!!) bikes
over the years, it’s by far and away the best at just about everything
    I’ve owned.

Go talk to Dom and get a demo potter :)

I’ve heard “talk” that the Open is a little lifeless to ride, but not
    having ridden one can’t comment.
