stylo 8mm is 48-54Nm so it’s gonna be tight :-)

I normally use an 8mm 3/4″ bit on a ratchet or long torque wrench
to get mine on and off…..

I wouldn’t use a hammer – find something to use as a lever.

And the last incarnation of the inbred before it was sold …

hhhmmm … new turbo eh ? Question that as my gt tdi pd 130 has 153K
on it and still the original blower.

As to other bits …. water pump, cam belt, rear axle bushes, front
anti roll bar bushes, rear calipers – these are the only things I've had
any issues with on mine …..

ordered 29/9, chased later, followed the web link regarding
paypal express orders, arrived 19/10 …. "blinding" little light !

saw the £150.00 leddite and thought – I'm glad I went direct – saved
    a oner there !!

    installation instructions – DOH !

road bike setup would be the MAX for your mtb. Most opt to run the saddle
somewhat lower for better "clearance" :-) My mtb was 46cm with a large
amount of post, where as the roadie is a 54cm with very little post – both
fit ok – just remember the min insertion line !!!

buy it …. i would but my 6600 double is only 250 miles
old and the financial manager would take parts of me in
    payment (retribution ??) :-)

platform size … spreads the load over a larger
area and therefore helps to reduce stresses and strains on
    the foot.

have to agree with that – bought some reba disc only lowers as CRC

interesting read … my gt tdi 130 pd (damn thats a tag and a half)
is still going strong after 150k from new with no problems, failures
or issues at all. Almost perfect diesel – turn the key and drive :-)

And according to the dash computer high 60's mpg on the commute up and
    down the M4 !!!

I did for a while but the slx one was "fussy" when covered
in mud … weird as the conventional version was always sweet !

Mine's an (sorry was) xc<120 and the only "gotcha" was the lower bottle
boss on the seat tube fouled the front mech band ! Filed it flush (very
carefully) with a dremel and all was good :-]

well i'll be …. crud roadracers and a maxlight with
    fox's on – you're not stalking me are you ???? :D

The clearance on my trek at the front is much tighter
than yours – almost touches the tyre infront of the brake,
but doesn't rub so …. great clips ons that really work too !

been having an e-mail conversation with them over the SRAM powerlink
recall – it only started when I asked them what they were going to
do, now I keep getting replacement (wrong btw) ones sent while they
wait for the corrected version from the importers. I now have 7
    complete sets of links !!!

had mine for 8 or 9 months and they're great. fit, cut hose
to length (didn't even need to bleed !) and ride – I've had
to bleed the rear once as I stored the bike upside down for
a couple of weeks – they, apparently, don't like this or so
    the manual says :-]

Other than that good power, good feel and pretty bullet proof.

    kmc's can be taken apart/rejoined – SRAM's can't and new shimano's
can – there's standards for you !!! I clean my cassette with white
spirit too – just take the wheel out first :-]
