I will buy in Euro and will therefore pay VAT iiuc, will then sell in GBP. I’m led to believe that if I can’t claim the VAT back then what I sell will be expensive.

I will be spending alot that will include VAT but will be selling very little that includes VAT.
Offside isn’t changing anytime soon. Everybody knows the rules, everybody games it in the same way. Barcodes had their chances in similar circumstances but couldn’t make anything of it. United did though and we won a cup. Ha-pee days!
I really like it, very quiet, handles well, doesn’t feel like an ebike.
Another 9.5 that has been upgraded, Lyriks, E13 bars/stem/carbon wheels/tyres/cassette, ergon grips and saddle, just waiting for the Float X2 to get fitted.
Given that I’ve already considered that it is going to be heavier by about 4 kilos, less manoeuvrable, have a centre of gravity that is dominated by the battery and motor, all of which is going to be the case whether I have the Orbea or the Trek. What I really want to understand is what difference the below will make cumulatively, especially given that the Orbea has quite similar geo to my Following:
HA is slacker by 1 deg
SA is steeper 3 deg
Eff/Virtual TT is the same
BB height is higher by 10mm
Chainstay is longer by 10mm
Wheelbase is longer by 80mm
Reach is longer by 35mm
Stack is higher by 20mm
Weight and power delivery did not particularly affect handling when I rode a Rise M20. Figures on that are not too dis-similar to how I have my following set up though. Hence those issues are not my concern.
@swdan
Agreed, would rather be watching the foo but am looking fwd to tmrw. Never got to see Queen so nice to see them 2 and hopefully there’ll be some TCV too.
@jam-bo Have you been to Prime much?
My son and I had a lesson there, they were a great bunch and my son progressed really well, me, I fell over alot. It’s been 30 years and I was no good in the first place.
