That's nothing I'm stuck in Stockport, (have been for the last 12years). Endless noxious unpleasantness' as far as the eye can see.

I use a cheapo Alivio front mech and the green bit-o-plastic to keep it in the right place. The chain has never come off and it's had plenty of abuse.

I **** love their pedals!!! If any of you are getting shot of your egg beaters then chuck 'em this way 🙂 You do need a good squirt of grease every few rides, so in this sense they're sort of like Fox or Pace forks, but I think they works just loverly thank you.

UPDATE: Plan Z failed 🙁 The oxidation has flattened the threads and the rust has cemeted the shell in place. It comes off in small chunks and I'd liken the job to stripping woodchip wallpaper with a toothpick.

PLAN Z: it's dremel time!!!!!! The griding disk is like a semi hot knife through frozen butter but it is getting through. Hopefully with a few carefully ground out channels it will loosen it.

We're on sprog two here, (2.5years and 5weeks). Bag-oh-shite. Can't see any biking for the forseeable. 5week old has major fussyness in the evening so we've absolutely noooo quiet time. Still worth it though.
