    JOHN CARTER

As yet, the only film I’ve turned off before the end. A chunder bus full of Disney diarrhea. I would sooner crap in my hands than watch one frame of that skid stained movie again.

I did ponder a sticking seal but the problem feels more ‘mechanical’. Works one way but not the other consistently. I’m 99% it’s the bushes.

The WD40 is working a treat. I have to do it in stages so as she doesn’t notice straight away.

I’m just pondering new STW names for when you beat this as well. So far I’ve only got ‘BullBackMountian’ and ‘HalfManHalfCow’.

1 month in and life is settling down. I have moved into a flat/shagpad/giant mancave and I’m slowly sorting the bills. Family and friends have been a huge support. I’m still a way off sorting some wheels but it’ll happen eventually.
I’m still seeing my kids loads and as soon as the weather stops I’ll be out biking again. I did manage one jaunt on my birthday.

1 week in and life is better already. Can’t afford a deposit, can’t afford my own car, can’t afford my own insurance, couldn’t be happier.
The tension and stress has almost gone completely. I still see the kids pretty much everyday which is good.

I left my wife and kids today. It’s been the worst few days of my life but it’s going to get better. I could do with people to talk to.

I’ve rocked that particular dream. There’s no quick cure for this one. Once you’ve realised you’re not firing on all synapses then you can start to recognise when certain nerve endings are bringing you down. Once you know the signs, you can tell your thoughts to go fudge themselves in the harris with a garden gnome.
As much as I didn’t like it at the time, riding helped. Riding at night REALLY helped. I’m in the NW if you fancy a spin.

EDIT: I only used CBT via the docs. Worked well for me.

Update: I’ve cracked my 10 month old Switch Evo freehub. It’s being up’d with an Ultra so all is good in the world.

I have Switch hubs on 717’s. Nearly a year old and v.good apart from the front bearings which were changed after a couple of months.

Gof – ART do a voice channel with what you need which is quite cheap. Focusrite make the Platinum which is alright but I’ve had reliance problems with Focusrite stuff.

Izotope and Cedar are v.good but I think even they’d struggle with the source material.

Pook – yes, I customized a PCM8 to run alongside ProTool, SF, Audition, Audacity etc etc. Sadie is old but it’s still the only E-to-E editor that can chop on the fly.

I’ve had a listen and there’s no quick fix I’m afraid. The background noise isn’t a constant, not even close and it’s very loud compared to the signal. Noise reduction won’t work without removing a substantial part of the voice as well 🙁
You’re trying to take the sugar out of a cup of tea. The best solution would be to knob around with the eq settings and narrow the frequency window to best fit your headphones/speakers.

It can’t be your fault as everything bad in the history of the world ever is down to me.
Of course you’re unhappy, you work 3 days a week and only get 2 full days off by yourself while the kids are at school.
What was I thinking working a full week and only riding at night when the kids are in bed!! I’m clearly taking the easy route.

    I’m disgusted by me.

Sorry for the delay, I was getting some adjudication on Cougar’s Bank-to-MC move. I thought I’d seen it before and I was right. The Right Reverend, Reverend Cluster used it during an international friendly in 1921 at the Vatican whilst building trade relations with Togo. Some of you might remember Cluster as “Mortar, Vicar?” for his use of diagonal moves during the Tour of India ’62.
In a mixture of blind luck and epic genius, the move does stand, well done Coug.

As with all WW1 fixtures it is customary for the victor to hand out sherry and chocolate.

You’re either way ahead of yourself or you might be experiencing PND. Yes it does happen to blokes as well. Either way, I don’t think you’re alone.
The single biggest understatement in the entire Cosmos is: “your life changes when you have kids”.
It’s impossible to fully encapsulate the extent of this. Our sprogs are 7 and 4, and we’re only now beginning to get some semblance of our previous life back. Having said that, you still can’t have a pooh in our house without being disturbed or interrupted.
My advice would be to stick with it and keep talking to your missus. It’s going to get harder but stinky pants needs your help 24/7…..and so does the baby 🙂

    good luck
