Thank you all for the warm fuzzy feeling. Yunki-no I don’t do any of that reading malarky although I’m going to have some more spare time now. 🙁

Sack it and buy a new one. Plenty of cheap ones out there. Doesn’t have to be new either.

BTW, if any worshipers are looking for a new hero, then I’m pretty awesome.

I got called a “timewaster” on email once by a user who wouldn’t send me any pics. Despite the fact he had an iPhone and iPad, (email footers were the clue). His loss.

If the audio is just speech based then go for a mono 22.05kHz MP3 in 64 or 32kbps. Also, if you have the option, choose CBR over VBR. Most of the AAC files we convert are layer3 which is the same as mp3 so it wouldn’t alter the filesize massively.
As leffeboy says, it depends on what you are using to stream.

Best thing is to experiment or ask the streaming platform folk what they prefer.

    good luck

brodie: nothing was filling the holes, I can’t believe I took so long to spot it.

So you only had 3 wheelnuts on each wheel?

Just to clarify: Each of my wheels requires 4 nuts + 1 locking nut = 5 total. Each of my wheels had 4 nuts + 0 locking nuts = 4 total.

I’ve worn out a few. I run Elixir R’s and I’ve found the G2’s and especially the G3 clean sweep’s produce low rev resonance when they’re on their way out. You can also feel a marked difference in the thickness of the disc splines and the braking surface. Heavy scoring is another reason to change ’em.

That’s not a puncture it’s just worn out!

Well it did a remarkable impression of one then, right down to letting all the air escape.

kentishman – you could be on to something there! another bike chum has suggested the same thing AND I even have the infrastructure in place 😆
Totally agree about the wife and “I’ve had this ages” line. I might try it with “I’ve always had a full XO groupset” 8)

The tiddlywinks are worth it. The only having ONE bike is killing me, especially as now I’ve regained enough of a life to start using it.

DO NOT get a Lumia. If it’s anything like the 710 I’ve got then you’ll spend the remainder of your contract wondering why you didn’t get an iPhone like the wife told you to get at the time.

My mate Craig won a bike race this year, he needed some help from the bloke behind though.

They even got some gold shiny thing as well.

I would rebleed to rule out previously stuck bubbles and also check the pistons. Sounds like they’re sticking when they get warm.

351 Recons with a firm spring or dual air Reba SL’s. I’ve ridden ’em through hell and high water and they’re still silky smooth and mark free.

They are unbelievably good bikes. If the powder coaters had have shot blasted mine with bricks I’d still be riding one today. Form follows function.

NW Towbars just quoted me £210 for fitting a bar. A Witter carrier would be another £75ish. I’ll keep dreaming 🙁

Haven’t got the beans for a tow bar despite the fact it might make more sense.

No tow bar on the awesome Vectra and the kids bikes are only gonna get bigger. Looks like it’s gonna be a roof mount jobbie.
