Our local Lapierre dealer sent our club a similar list of bikes about a week ago. If you go direct to your lbs you will probably get a similar deal. There was a bargain 714 on there too.
My lbs is the Bicycle doctor porth. They will get a good price with brilliant service.

A mate of mine had “feeling hot hot hot” as he went down in the crem.
He was a real joker and gave us all his last laugh.

I wear my everyday driving glasses, got the optician to heat and bend the arms around ears as much as possible and they stay on quite well. The inside is always covered in sweat and steam up, the outside always covered with rain and mud. I also got some Oakley crosshair 2 prescription sun glasses which I rode in about five times and the sweat has attacked the Crome coating.
Ill probably try some prescription safety glasses next.

Flows on Switch hubs weighing 1900g for £200.

Thanks for the info. I had arch ex & pro11s on my last bike, its been nice getting away from the clicking of the hopes, any expierance with superstar hubs? They are doing flows or crests for £200
The crests weight looks attractive, but maybe too light?
I’ve still got the original minions 700g I belive, which I took off to use the ust ones, not sure if these will run tubless.
The seat post is worth the extra weight imo so that’s staying.

Just found some results for these wheels, they’re stated as weighing 2277.
I don’t really want to add a granny ring yet, but never say never :)

Makita for drills, impact drivers and grinders.
Bosch for chop saws, routers & circulars saws for me.
Dewalt havnt had great reliability or customer service since they became dewalt imo.
They were great when they were elu, but now just a bit bob the builder stylee.

Hilti have always had a great reputation, but I don’t own any of their battery tools, only big drills.

The last time i bought battery tools was about 3 yrs ago. makita 6 pack,
Drill, impact driver, circular saw, grinder, reciprocating saw, touch, 3 battery’s and a nice hold all from a company called so cal power tools in USA. . Half price compared to uk with free delivery and no import duty as they had a depot in uk.

Nothing there to worry about, everything can be rolled. Your biggest problem will be finding them all, really poor signs.

We had one broken pedal and one chain in our group this year, I did expect to go through pads as my rear brake was overheating regulaly, (me being over cautious) but the pads lasted the trip.
I didn’t find food & drink much more expensive than uk cities, 15-25 euros for a good meal.

Only a couple of times a year for me when out with mates. Don’t really like the taste of it anymore.

Ive always taken it out with orange. The robbing buggers take £12 p/m to cover my iPhone 4. Thursday night I dropped it in water, I arranged a replacement with them and had to pay £50 excess! Overnight it dried out on the radiator so I rang to cancel the replacement, but because I had agreed delivery they could not cancel it and I still have to pay the £50.
The new phone was delivered to my door in 18 hours, so it’s a good service if you need it, but you certainly pay well for it.

Only got expierence with the moby 17, bought it a few weeks ago and I’m really impressed with it. It’s still running on the battery which hasn’t been recharged yet since delivery, washes 2/3 bikes on a tank of water and has plenty of reach on the leash. I’m even using it to wash my van. Oh and they’re on offer on crc.

Venderers trail, then half way around again to join on to the dh trails. There’s some real good lines down, all of which are rollable going slow or big smiles fast. I havnt rode the newly opened dh yet though, so not sure about that one.

I’m many miles away from being called a dh’er, but much prefer coming down rather than getting up. (As long as there’s a pussy line next to the big stuff) :) I havnt done any uplift days here yet, but had a few days in morzine & les gets on the ski lifts in the summer and now booked in for a day at antur stiniog.

I think they’re a bargain, when I take the mrs to do the chrimbo in the city, it costs over a tenner to park and then I’ve got to pay for everything we do there too. £5ish to enjoy your hobby on purpose built trails is amazing compared to other sports.
    Car/bike track day from £50-£200
    Mx practice track £25-£40
    Watch rugby/football £10-£50
    Play golf £??

    We got it pretty good?

    Sorry, the second link works.
Nipper, they’re probably trying to build a fast, fun trail to appeal to majority, I think it looks like an exciting new addition.
Kona, some parts of the penhydd trail are being reused but the whole trail won’t be reopened.

It was my first expierence of a trail centre and it got me hooked. Really pleased for the surrounding area.
