Take the gondola to the top and turn right. There’s a gopro sponsored trail back to the bottom that’s all tabletops and berms. Great fun if you like that sort of thing.

When we went they had closed the DH tracks due to an upcoming race so we ended up riding it all day.

My boss wears Joggers on business class flights

But there are joggers and there are business class joggers

I’d put a PSA for the 35% off up but want to make sure my two pairs (one for outbound, one for home) arrive first.

no mileage restrictions nor worry over wear and tear

This is always given as a reason not to lease but purchase a car put 20k miles a year and let it get into a scruffy condition and you’ll always receive less when you come to sell it than if it was immaculate with half the mileage. You end up paying for it either way.

A PIR will need an unswitched live so run a flex from the plug to the PIR. Connect this into L-N-E. Then connect another flex into SWL-N-E at the PIR and run this to the lights and connect . Voila.

If in doubt pay a proper sparky.

Edited to add this is assuming a standalone PIR. If its built into the light just take the flex from the plug straight into it.

The new TLD Raids look good, apart from the eye watering price.

They are good. I’ve only used mine for a week in Saalbach so far but there were proper fit and forget. No rubbing or re-adjusting at all. I usually use 7idp transitions but wanted something a bit more heavy duty and they are easily as comfy.

I must have been feeling flush as I paid full retail in my lbs as they where the only place I could find a m/l!

poc have always seemed a bit Rapha to me. Designs often look good but the price never justified.

This. A chap we ride with who wouldn’t be seen dead on his road bike if not in full Rapha seems to have adopted poc as his mtb brand of choice.

I think its just down to it being expensive so it must be good???

I must be using a different version of google!

Yes 32A mcb in consumer unit (assuming surface installation)

4mm cable to a 32A double pole switch (assuming clipped direct and length is ok for volt drop)

I trust you would then employ someone to test and certify.

Yeah i think the RS is a great choice but your right about people overvalueing the five.

They were £4200 new and came with X1 11 speed, pikes, stealth reverb, flows on pro2’s, Raceface SixC carbon bars, etc.

I’d say £1500 was undervaluing it! You’d get more splitting it.

So why no Brendan fairclough here? Would’ve thought this would’ve been his event, given the discussion on the world cup thread recently

Not tried the Spesh swat but I’ve got the RF stash bibs (£60ish @ Wiggle) and really rate them. Much prefer them to a small camelback.

IMO comfort wise perfectly fine for 4+ hours in the saddle (used for the ‘ardrock)

I’ve managed to carry a tube, mini pump and co2, multi-tool, spares tin and bag of jelly babies in the 3 small pockets plus 1.5 litres of water.

I’ll be doing that exact route in a couple of weeks time.

    One of my favourites.

IMO there are better ways down the hill after TOTW but I’m not sure how much fun they’d be after racing it flat out!

As you’ve only got 6 days I’d say don’t bother doing anything but bike park

Completely agree. I’ve now been 6 times (either 10 or 14 day trips) and the last was 10 straight park days.

The minor amount of valley xc stuff I’ve ridden is great and if I lived there for the season would love to do more of it but I pedal uphill for the other 50 weeks a year in the uk. Also the park has a lot more to it than a-line style jump trails you see in 90% of the videos there’s technical trails to suit every level. You’d do well to ride every park trail in 6 days.

My group all agreed you’d be mad to travel 4000+ miles to (probably) the best bike park in the world and not ride it.

Have you tried with a 1.25kg plate under each heel?

I’ve got metal work in my leg which also restricts my ankle movement but can manage a parallel squat by doing this.

5×5 is based around squatting each workout as the major compound movement so would be nowhere near as effective if you replaced them.

South of the border you’d need a “Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Report” commonly known as a periodic inspection.

Rough cost for a typical property would be £300ish

I’m waiting still on Flare Rider Co. gear. I think it’s actually happening, they’re just pretty dire about updates.

Anyone know if Gee had a mechanical? there appeared to be a distinct lack of pedalling on the bottom half of the track

If you watch the slo-mo of where he takes the left line on the jump after the pedally bit you can see the mech smash into the log and the chain go slack. I’m surprised Warner or Claudio missed it.
