You wont go far wrong on a swift you can certainly get a test ride if you speak to Sam

The gryphon is so sweet too! and i am getting some rear rack adaptors done wich will also work nicely on the swift

29er’s are fine in singletrack esppecially ashton court you just need to ride them for a while and your riding style adapts (I live in Briz BTW )

As for SS around here there is pretty much nothing you cant ride up on a ss the rolling countryside out and around Bristol ,Cotswolds ,etc is just perfect for 29ers too

And like i said you wont regret getting a swift the rest of your bike collection will get dusty left in the garage.

And like what was said before with a singular Sam is always on hand with the best advice and customer support if you about at the weekend he has a tean at MM and there will definately be something you can get a ride on

I Like the shortest rider on a 29er that sounds good :-)

I also think all the ladeeyz should get a prize as the outnumbered about 30 to 1

And finally about silliest bike with white wheels !

And how about a spot prize for doing the run at mayhem for our team ?

Hey i had excatly the same problem i was told by garmin its not the drivers you need as the edge is a mass storage device.
They didnt really help all that much really so i went round the houses like you getting to the same point but no further.
The only thing i did do differently to get it going was to open training center from programs not the sortcut icon !!! dont know why it worked but it did

Sorry to poo poo you clubber,
I have had my NRS since about 2001 and have run it zero sag and with about 15 percent sag i would have to say that the bike is far more active with sag there is no noticeable bob ,the suspension system still jacks up to full extension when climbing and when the rear wheel hits a bump the suspension is still active.
This also makes the suspension far more active over rough terrain and i have never bottomed it out
I do have the original works frame with rockshock wich TF once told me was far superior to any of the aftermarket shocks to the point that i loaned the rear shock to my friend who had a later frame with the in house shock and was so blown away with the performance compared to his own when he couldn’t get the rockshock he sold the frame on

    Hope this helps

I Found the same iamtheresurrection i even asked the garmin guys at the outdoor show to wich there was an awful lot of head scratching i even had the memory map route printed and my 705 with me with the random navigation lines and the guys there couldn’t work it out.
Now i just plan a route then convert to track and it seems fine

234 hp for 3K sounds like a tall story to me ,and a 3SGTE self mapped on megasquirt good luck with that !

150 hp per litre is possible the last engine i built that gave that was a non turbocharged cosworth engine wich cost nearly 30k and the little Vaxhall corsa engines 1400cc give 160hp approximate cost 10k

And as for turbo engines being laggy turbos have moved on a long way.

The last 500hp subaru i built had 28psi of bost at 1600 rpm with over 350 ftlb of torque at 1600rpm with over 500ftlb at 5200rpm approx cost 30k

Anything is just about possible but there are three variables when it comes to engines

    CHEAP
    RELIABLE
    POWERFUL

    Pick two options from above

    Now get your foot down

Did you find out what the wheel dishing stick was for then ? Stress relieving the spokes etc etc
Maybe some people think its better to see the hub logos through the valve hole !!!!!!!
And whats that all about not being able to get the valve cap off FFS.
Hey Stu now its your turn for the knights of the wheel building niche.

Bonty mud x front and rear have ridden in the snow every day this week bloomin fantastic ,Thought about running the stout up front Stu but decided on a narrow tyre to cut through the snow and find the grip :D

Its not just the peak torque you want to look at its the torque spread and delivery. The variable pitch turbo on the vag units is far superior to ford in my experience its also the fuel economy on the vag that stuffs all other makes into the ground.
Horsepower is what people talk about in the pub its torque that pulls you along and only horsepower that keeps you there once you are going hence the fact that most good diesels have more torque than an F1 car but there so heavy and they dont rev hence F1 cars rely on hp not torque if that makes sense !
