I always find if i send a route via mm it transfers fine to the 705 but when you view it as a map or try to follow it it has tried to recalculate using the street nav software and just comes up completely useless sending back and forward all over the place !
Now if i plan a track it seems to go in fine i spoke to garmin but they didn't really know why the files were not working

Thats strange to hear that, i have never wieghed my swift but i cerainly dont think its a heavy bike ,I have been told its suprisingly light ('for a big wheeler')
It doesn't feel heavy but if having a lightweight bike that kicks you in the arse and doesn't handle well is better than a heavier bike that rides like a dream and handles superbly then thats a choice to make as a buyer i suppose

Plenty of bike hire shops in Hamner when i was there didn't ride there as we didn't stop for long but being a ski resort getting some riding shouldn't be a problem
Can definately reccomend the riding down at Queenstown if your going there i expect you are.Outside sports on shotover is the best place for advice i found had a great day out around the hills of cromwell cant remember the name of the guy that took me out but they will know him top bloke.
If your into DH then there is a downhill track from the gondola in Queenstown

Surely those fire road sections are when you gat to take the pi55 out of your mates or do a lot of people miss the singletrack by riding straight past.
Although we did get a bit lost in the low cloud honest 8O

We have Air pikes steel steerer and bolt through and u turn,
Went for air spring as its far easier to tune for a Tandem and what a difference they make

Looks like we have enough tandems for a big tandem ride out :-)

Its a bit daft to go moaning that second hand stuff is too expensive you have already made your feelings known by not making a purchase.

Isn't that how any sale works if the price is right you make the sale if its too dear then it doesn't sell unless there is someone stupid enough to pay over the odds

    :-)

Perhaps if you need to question the 'point' of a singlespeed maybe its not for you. Everyone to there own

I can say that the friends i have made by riding silly bikes is far greater than years of other riding, and why do people need to get to the end of there ride so quick !

Why not be sociable when out with your mates.

And to all the nay sayers they have probably been dusted by a rigid singlespeed going uphill at some stage…….suck it up :D

Just been to Switzerland in our T4 would never go back to a bay 80mph all the way cruise control on and the air con blowing (although i did have one of the quickest air coolers in the country)500 to a tank good times
T4's are always more expensive than bongos and transits but they always seem to hold much stronger values.

    go for it
    :-)
