tbh it depends single oven is generally a 13 amp supply so can use a standard socket and is easily diy able, doubles use a higher load and you will need to know what the incoming feed is to know what needs to be done

I used these twice and thought they were great. They now will not sell to me as my prescription is too strong

In other words there is now less profit margin on you so they dont want to know……………..

………….so now you’ll have to go back to the opticians to get stuff sorted…………wonder if yours does loyalty discounts

I have supermarket ones – get the weakest that work for you.

    Dont do this

the chances of then being correct for you are very slim, and they only do + prescriptions this may not be what you need, als the PD’s of these can be all over the place so can actually cause eye strain, if you dont want to believe someone who works in the industry google which magazines test on them, the outcome was not good…….

Do if you want to get you prescription and shop around, but get proper glasses as prescribed, the above attitude still amazes me as you only have 1 set of eyes and they really are kinda important

TSY if you have been told tv drivingand cinema they are for distance only, dont try to use when on comp or reading this will just give you eye strain

Who was the Italian that Lance had a grudge against who basically got shut out by the peleton? I want to say Cippollini, but I don’t think so…

Philipe Simeoni was the guy armstrong hated

Shlecks are doing a tit for tat over last years stage and wont wait as they were done over, if he wasn’t on leodard trek then Cacelara would be a good guv’nor, but atm is following the team line

Howdens actually work on margin and dont really care what the price of an item says on the invoice, appliances are lower margin items so they are less likely to fight to keep them on the invoice (ex howdens kitchens designer)

Frames aren’t glazed until sold so of course the would be unglazed on display that get stolen……Or do you think opticians are Soo rich they can have about 1000 versions of each frames in stock to account for varying lens types, prescriptions and measurements, high street opticians are actually having a v tough time ATM which is why they take a hard line, it costs about £60-70 to test someones eyes we get paid £20-30 so profit has to be made in glasses, the online guys don’t take that hit so just cream the profit, but don’t worry when the indies go out of business I’m sure they’ll test your eyes obline for you too

Strange that locals and high street wont, most independants will unless the frame is obviously new and never been glazed b4 with prescription lenses, the only time you would then be turned away from an independant is if you cant provide a receipt for purchase. (this is because frame theft is rife and to try and combat it we dont glaze without proof of purchase or the frame already being prescription glazed)

God that’s so dull and boring now, who is this rest of us? Well all pay taxes surely.

erm no, private sector is generally cash generator, public sectors cannot/do not create any ‘new’ money, and are therfore in reality paid for by the private sector

wasn’t this gov that sold the gold…….., but tbh what has that got to vdo with public sector sharing the pain…..

    thehustler
    Free Member

not to put too finer point on it things have got to change, we are outspending what we earn, public sector cant just keep burying its head in the sand, basically the rest of us pay their wages and we are suffering and its time to pass on some of the pain…..

    And another one, (maybe 2)

Cars that give you little/no room when overtaking

Cars that overtake and cut back in as close as poss to kerb (sometimes when not fully past you) to stop you underpassing when approaching lights or a junction.

There is a siver VW polo driving round Telford with a broken wing mirror due to the latter, bar ends can be great revenge 🙂

motionX gps, cost £1.79, can load maps onto handset so no data roaming, it can map tracks and even mark waypoints for navigation
