OK, I was there about 4 weeks ago for my daughters birthday (11) and our 6 yr old son too. For the full experience you WILL NOT beat staying in the disney hotel, its over the gates to the park, so you walk out of the hotel and into the park, with kids of yours age this will give you the advantage of being able t go back to the hotel at anytime for a rest etc without queuing and waiting for buses etc.

You also have the ‘characters’ wandering around the hotel all the time which is a big plus again for the kids.

There are actually two parks , and the lightning maqueen show is in the studio’s one, lightning only really makes a cameo appearance but the rest is still a pretty good stunt show

If you have a self interest element and want fast thrilling rides save some money and go to Alton towers, but if you want he kids to have the time of their lives Disney is it.

One small thing that really impressed, in one of the shops my daughter was wearing her birthday badge, one of the assistants spotted it and called over a load of the ohers assistants and they all sang happy birthday to her!! where else would you get that?

As others have said above its not cheap, but for kids its amazing, the wildwest show in the ‘village’ area is also good for an evenings entertainment, there is also a Mcdonalds in the village which is not badly priced.

Travel wise we drove, doing it again I’d probably use the eurostar option as the train drops you off approx 300m (could be less but no more) form the disney hotel.

If you want any more info PM me

Hopefully the two are completely unconnected, but a friend of mine who had known pc rathband for years died last week whilst waiting for a heart transplant, I really hope hearing of this loss didn’t compound mr Rathbands own grief, as both are in awful circumstances and very sad

I bank with lloyds tsb and the current acc gives mobile insurance so it cost me just £35 to get mine done (that was front and back)

All reactors ae alot better than years ago, as with all tings the technology has moved on,most go dark pretty quick now, but take a while longer to come back to light, they haven’t got over the working better on a cold bright day than warm day yet, but essilor have now achieved a lense called transiton extra active which (only available in grey atm) which goes alot darker than any available b4 and also works to about a 50% level in a car, this lense can be done as plano or prescription into almost any frame with the right base curve option, you’d prob need to see a local optician for price details or PM me if you want more info

The ‘massive margin’ pays for the sight test, you pay anywhere between 5 and 30 pounds for a sight test, the actual cost when you factor in the equiptment etc is 70-80 pounds, but the ‘online’ guys dont have to consider that cost now do they?

Specsaves not as cheap as you would think, only cheap if you are bog standard, aftersales service leaves alot to be desired.

Online sellers………really? you only have one set of eyes.

I would say find an optician that has consistent staff (not high turnover) whether it be a multiple or an independant, where they look after you, cheapest isnt always best and ergo Apollo and say specialized, but neither is the most expensive.

And if you live anywhere near the Telford area come and see us we’ll look after you 😉

Young girl came into the our opticians, been tested at a prolific highstreet optician that perports to be cheap, she has a v high prescription and has been told she can only have bloody aweful looking glarres at a cost of £200 ontop of her NHS voucher, so we take a look choose a frame much better suited to her prescription with a aspheric (thinned) lense, all within the NHS voucher allowance.

Afew days later the little girl and mom come to collect the specs, both leave us in floods of tears as both mom and daughter cant believe the the glasses can look so nice!!

Thats a warm fuzzy moment for me and a little girl who now doesn’t mind her glasses.

Play dumb, you’ve ONLY been locked out so break in and get your stuff.

    Dont do this its illegal

You do however have a legal right to reclaim YOUR property and the lender IS acting illegally by not letting you do so, write to them giving a reasonable timescale (2weeks ish) to arrange for you to have access otherwise you will have no choice to sue for your losses.

    this from tandem

Had plenty of other people who asked for pictures and got them

this from seller, means he has so a comparison of seller and buyer pics would resolve all I think

Endura stingrays, not sure just had a look at a pic, would need to see how they are held into the frame, pretty much any full rimmed frame yes, some v high wrap frames might cost a bit more for the lenses as they would need a higher base curve lense, infact i glazed these

for my little lad for skiing last year (he has a really strong prescription), and they are a decathlon off the peg goggle
