Not mtb, but I use an Ultegra external BB on my road FSA cranks so i would say they are compatible with most standard fits

Spin spped has always been marketing b_______t machines have only ever been able to reach the ‘marketed’ speed with a perfectly balanced load, the rest (read all) of the time they spin at a somewhat lesser speed, alot of other gizmo’s tend to have a control on the machine so you can turn them on/off…..

If its neff it probably has top and bottom elements and possibly one around the fan (used to be bosch technology but they are part of the same grp) so you need to check all the elements
