This will be my fifth time in Morzine this year with the guys and girl and their is a mixed bag of bikes going,2 Boardman fs 26r and 650b. They are trails all over the area for every kind of riding. You don’t need to hire a bike as my mate done most of the drops we did on his 26 Boardman.
My email is in my profile if you want any more info or a chat over the phone

We are out in Morzine from the Sat 9th July for a week and have two spaces available in one of our chalets. We book two chalets from riders refuge each year costing £138 p/p. Their is a real variation of people going ranging from 15 to 53,as the abaility level is so varied we always break off into smaller groups or just go and do our own thing. If your interested just drop me an email

We had the same problem on our local trails mostly trail saboutage and obstacles placed across the trail before stepping up to a wire strung across the trail. We all chipped in £10 each and purchased 2 badger cams but we caught him red handed and his excuse was that a mtb had hurt his dog,

I upgraded my older 160 vans to brand new 180 vans and had the exact same problem bottoming out on drops and blowing through all the travel. Ended up selling them as i just couldnt trust them

I ride 26 inch on both my Glory and Trance because I can’t justify the cost of upgrading

Caddied for my uncle when he was playing in a pro-am match. We had to stop at kingspark to pick up Kenny Daglish(33years ago),just the three of us in the car and then I found out we were in the same fourball followed the whole course by fans and the papers, when we finished he asked me to go to the car and get his football boots so I put them on and ran around the carpark. Was waiting to use the toilets in a pub called Buzzy Wares in Glasgow and out walked a famous footballer and another guy rubbing their teeth then their nose. The footballer was famous for the quote “where’s the burds”

We ride it once a month at least and you can wear whatever you want. Loads of different bikes from ht to full downhill rigs, nobody gives a toss what you wear or ride as long as your having fun.

At Innerleithen a few month ago their was a famous World Cup racer their and we asked him if their is a big difference between 26 and 650B and if it is worth upgrading our downhill bikes,he told us that in his opinion the average downhiller will not notice the difference.

Try living with two daughters 17&15 and a wife. They keep asking me why I go out on my bike all the time go figure ladies. My daughters told me I couldn’t take their phones off them as they had bought them with their own money so I removed their SIM card put my phone onto silent and away I went on the bike for an hour. Their behaviour was impeccable for the following two days which believe me is a great result
