The card reader I use charges 1.75% on each transaction but I have to wait 2 working days for the cash to reach my account.

I have snapped Achilles in both my legs and one re-rupture all on the bike. The first time(11 years ago) we went down the conservative treatment which caused the re-rupture 5 months later. They then had to take the muscle from my big toe and use that to connect the tendon. Another 12 weeks on crutches with no load bearing, back on the bike at 6 months riding round the park and eventually back down the Golfie at 8 months.
The second time(5 years ago) it was straight to  surgery but completely different recovery. Fitted with a boot and load bearing after 4 weeks being encouraged to walk without crutches in 8 weeks but still off the bike for 5 months then normal riding after 6 months.
Your Achilles will never feel normal again but it’s just something you have to live with. The injuries haven’t curtailed me in any way. The first time I done it I was 44 and 18 stone so if your younger and lighter your recovery could be quicker.

On the Orbea Rise forum they were saying that the Jose’s are zip tied together as they run along the side of the battery. You have to drop the battery out to do the job.

Because I don’t like Shimano brakes and my new bike has internal brakes hoses which run along side the internal battery which makes it a nightmare to replace.

I have had two Mega frames snap on me. The first one four years ago then the warranty replacement frame two years ago and both cracked on the seat tube. No issues with the warranty replaced immediately. Have now since bought a Mega 29r Pro and a Scout.

I have had Hope brakes for the last 12 years and can’t see by them. Takes 5 mins to set up each end and their ready to go. No issue with stoping power either and I weight 115kg before mtb gear goes on.

I was at the Golfie yesterday morning and it was carnage with loads of walking and lifting over trees.

Started doing it last year after my warm shower. Cranked straight to freezing and start on my right ankle. It has been great for muscle soreness and injuries, usually stay under for 5 minutes

Their is a great loop round Bothwell Castle and Blantyre woods. Just xc stuff but mostly all Singletrack. If your driving from EK you can park at Blantyre train station and start the loop from their,I am more than happy to show you the loop

I have Hope pedals and find them fantastic. Two years now with no play and very grippy. The pedals take a lot of abuse as I am 115kg and mostly ride Dunkeld and the Golfie. Like all Hope products I have they just work.

I will be going back as I only use the weights and dont do any classes. Usually I am in mid afternoon when its quite so low risk.

I have using 165mm cranks for 4 years now as I was suffering from knee pain. Virtually eliminated the pain, what i did notice is that you are faster taking away.

The trail under the Super Morzine lift is open. We always finished on that as our digs are just along from the exit.

My friend one it last year and choose a Evil Wreckoning. What he didnt know was the parts added to the build are all priced at rrp so he ended up having to put his old cranks on.
