Have the Extreme and Airport express. Very happy with them and never had any problems. I'd avoid the TimeCapsule though. Lots of reports of corrupt backups with them when backing up over WiFi.

If you use one with ADSL I'd get one of the pass through ADSL modems. Just need to add your password in Airport setup. I used to have one of these Draytek ones and worked a treat.

Reviews of both GF-1 and EP-1 are available. I believe they are not made by Nikon?

Oh and never forget that although the S90 is a good camera, Ken Rockwell spouts utter tripe and his articles are a broad mixture of widely known information, strong opinions and outright factual errors.

Amen to that. Worth reading for a laugh sometimes though.

Have a look at the words of a Mr Thom Hogan. He speaketh the truth.

Had a blast on one at the Seb Rogers course. Felt just right. Not so much suspension you noticed it but just right. Felt super quick.

    Will start saving the pennies.

    Day 365 of 365

That was good. Learnt a lot and had a lot of fun. Spent far too much money on photography gear but never mind.

For all those doing 2010 then good luck!

Not sure of your budget but have a look at dpreview.com The Lumix range seem to get good reviews.

I'm holding out for a Lumix GF-1 at some point in 2010.

The Flickr iPhone app will do it. There's an icon in the top right to upload.

Also you can email them to your Flickr account
    http://blog.flickr.net/en/2008/11/14/quick-tip-uploading-photos-from-your-iphone/

I'd imagine it'll get confusing pretty quickly though. I prefer to keep mine carefully numbered on my laptop at home.

See image below. Top right camera icon allows you to upload.

It helps if you're in the middle as the perspective is equal.

does my **** nut in. Hate having to pull all the way out to the outside lane then back in to the inside as some idiot wants to drive at 60 in the middle.

And also pretty pleased with this which was published in a national newspaper.

Really enjoyed my photography this year. Also seem to be collecting cameras at an alarming rate. Here's the full best of[/url] according to Flickr.

Yeah condensation. You'd have to insulate to avoid it or get bigger vents I guess.

is it originals only ( with a bit of cropping )

or can you also do a bit of touching up before posting them ?

Wouldn't like to get off on wrong foot ,

apologies for asking question here rather than on group forum but can't access that from work

Don't think there's any problem editing and cropping. People have different opinions on HDR and other effects but I think as long as it was taken on the right day and you don't cheat it's a goer! Most of mine are processed in Lightroom for levels, sharpening, cropped and the odd effect applied – ie B+W or a film type simulation such as Fuji Velvia.

    Good luck.

Off to find an image for today then think about what to do for my last one.

    "lugging a D70"…

I carried round a D70 for most of the year and now use a D300. I find the little 35mm prime keeps the weight down and allows some better low light stuff. It's almost always in my bag.

Coming to the end of my 365 project. Hard work at first but learnt a lot about photography and also about the patterns that take place in my life.

Only use it for buying now. The last item I sold someone used for a week then wanted to return for a refund and left bad feedback.

Rare to find deals there buying too.

Yeah picked up an old Nikon F801 to use my 28 and 50mm primes on. Died the other day but then it was only £20. Will get another one though.

2nd Lightroom. Amazing bit of software.

Sell, steal, do anything you can to get on that course. I learnt so much that weekend.

Looks like you're mates with Dom and Jamie judging by your Flickr stream. Done a few photo shoots with those guys last year. Would be happy to do another one soon and maybe help out with some tips I learnt from the course.

Without flash there wouldn't be many magazine covers.

5 frames a second. Try going for one really good one!

What I need is a stunt monkey who will ride the same section over and over again whilst I faff to the max and move the flash all over the place to see what results I can get, but I don't have that luxury!

I find Swinley is good for this as you can set up a shot and flashes and have loads of riders keep coming through all day. Obviously easy to keep changing the settings etc. My mates do get a bit annoyed with the "just one more time" trick though :-)
