In terms of the price of products going “through the Grinder”, I was pleasantly surprised to see the same Shimano pedals I own featured in the current issue. Also, at 40 quid and highly recommended, I don’t see where people could complain. The glasses on the previous page were recommended and affordable too.

Also, +1 for the reader’s bikes section. ST could easily send a letter along with the magazine asking for subscribers to describe their bikes and send photos or something. Personally I’d love to see what other subscribers are riding and also all their little bodges and ghetto fixes.

Lycra shorts under the baggies. Lights. New tyres maybe.

I’m a baggies person, but I don’t have very hairy legs (I say it’s a black thing rather than a manliness(or lack thereof) thing) so that’s a win for me.

Why don’t you use one of those adjustable electric shavers to select the optimal length.

+1 for the Ignitors. Grip well on most stuff(even a long steep downhill made of mud and wet rocks). Do skip sideways on loose rocks, but digs in really quickly once it finds dirt.

Depends what you’re doing. I’ve got a Hope Vision One. Powerful enough for group night rides in the woods and lasts long enough to get you home.

Had a long weekend in Exmoor with a friend. Great to explore some new stuff and not a single punc**re. Also, some lovely downhills.

Nice looking Ragley you got there but how big is the front rotor? Looks pretty big from this angle.

I wouldn’t recommend commenting, you’ll just get ignored or end up in arguments with idiots who’ve never even sat on a bike.

Instead, I’d recommend hitting the little “report” button at the bottom of the article and leave a name and email address, you can tell their boss what an idiot they are. I promise it’ll bring much more satisfaction.

Serious lack of Giants here, so this is mine:

Now has a 180mm front rotor and a pair of SPDs on. I’m also building some wheels that aren’t crap (just need to true the rear one). Sorry about the saddlebag & bottle, but both get used every ride.

I think it’s been said that the internal routing would work with some other FS frames as well so if your bike’s the right design, that might be worth the wait.

Just having fun with the macro mode.

Taken at the RAF Lyneham families’ day.

Finally, a photo from my 5AM bike ride 😀
