Almost forgot about this. Tui got in touch with the resort team and clarified with the hotel, apparently it’s a local law and only aimed at Tunisian citizens and it’s a predominantly British hotel with some Germans.

    Happy days

Witter make one for use with a trailer, it’s mounted very high so it completely clears the draw bar, but doesn’t tilt. I’m not too concerned about weight on the tow ball, it’s rated at 90kg but it would easily take 5 times that, I fitted it myself.
I could still put the adult bikes on the roof and just the kids on the back.

It’s only a small erde trailer, it won’t take a rack fitted to it. I’ve got two roof mounted carriers and a long thin roof box. Just looking at options for now, a bigger trailer would be ideal but for what I would want, it gets very expensive for something used 4-5 times a year

We think the fake accounts may be temporarily suspended as the admins keep disappearing and the group shows as ‘no admin’ which still doesn’t help!

Yes cougar, we noticed this morning when we couldn’t see the group. He’s got his account back now, didn’t have 2 step verification and same password for everything……..

We’re doing that via builders talk group, publicly. There’s 33k on there, hopefully by tonight there will be thousands of reports

I’d already seen that review natrix thanks, didn’t help much apart from pointing me back at islabike. I’d discounted the frog because of the weight and fork but the new model 55 is very comparable to the islabike, but £80 cheaper! I think I’ll be going for that, thanks for the comments

The used prices for islabikes are bonkers though, seems pointless buying used. Our 3 year old will be on the cnoc 14 after Christmas I reckon. He’s on a ridgeback balance bike at the mo

Mines similar spooky, lots of deep battle scars requiring filler, wet and dry etc. Bonnet resprayed, lots of touch up.
I’ve got a really cheap 150w buffer with a few different pads. Got rained off today so just managed to flat of the primer etc

It was so bad that I used a poly scourer and wet and dry on it 😯

Picked up some G3 restorer, I’ve got plenty of resin polish and carnuba for after that

Feel free to post them if you can. They’re held up with a 15×15 batten run on 3 sides. I routed a 16x16mm slot into the timber and slid them on. Timber is 38×225 rough sawn crap, aka scaffold planks sanded down and dressed off with 80g, nothing more. I would have preferred to plaster them in but customer was happy to have them this way. The backs of the alcove were slightly wider unfortunately. I suggested oil to finish

Made these this week for a customer, equal both sides of the breast. They were 375mm apart, customer laid out positions

Depends on what type of construction it is really and which insulation material. My preference is a warm roof construction with grp. 100mm celotex is what building control always want from me for flat roofs and garage conversions

Scrap piece of plasterboard, holesaw slightly bigger than the holes. Enlarge the holes, cut new pieces, glue in with no more nails solvent free, wet edges first. Gripfill won’t stick properly, fill over and lightly sand flush

If it doesn’t clear up properly, I know a guy, 2 actually. Nothing like omega prices and they service high end stuff daily

Event shelters are crap, their footprint is too big and they’re expensive.

I use Draper pop up gazebo, machine mart sell them for around 120, eBay for around 100. It’s much more heavy duty than anything run of the mill, side panels are also available. I’ve left mine up in awful conditions for days on end.

I normally scrape, pva, then skim over. It needs to be really
bad to warrant bonding first. Bonding btw, is a type of undercoat plaster.
Very often, the artex is loose and the whole lot comes off easily if you get under it. Sometimes it’s actually plaster instead, in which case, you’ll have fun scraping it. 😀

Astro turf, the new push stuff is very good. Will be slightly more expensive than paving it but much nicer

    Scraper like this

Followed by a random orbit sander.

    It’s actually easier to reskim

Yeah works great apart from the above re text message content. You can send from the normal phone app, however all received texts go to the three app. Mildly annoying at first

If you’re getting spendy, I’ve got the dewalt 717xps and the big fold up stand. You’d get those for half the overpriced kapex. Then add a Festool ts55 plunge saw kit or a dewalt dw745 table saw with the change, I’ve got both of those too!

Look at evolution, for DIY and even light trade use the top of the range model is quite good.

For everyday use, spend more money

I replaced my own on the van at 110k, really easy to work on though as there’s loads of space in the engine bay. The part cost about 40 quid from GSF and took about an hour including getting tools out and putting away again.
Symptoms on mine where a rattling sound when driving. £400 sounds ridiculous though, definitely get another opinion

Very nice, but if I had the cash, I don’t think I would
