i think the key differences are a screwfit to keep a good seal and not allow any air to escape when removed, as the quantities of gas contained are so small that any release would be significant against the pressure, and the fact that they have a dump valve so you can either inflate or deflate to get to the precise pressure required.
it looks so dangerous, though, with that shorter wheel base and **** centre of gravity. looks like they’re going to go over the bars just by thinking about it.
i saw a case the other day and debated whether to mention it. saw her stopped at some lights just up the road so felt obliged to…
it doesn’t acknowledge that fact that they are being shown pictures of women, rather than encountering actual real people.
they probably see them as objects to assist in the act of “hurting themself”, as opposed to real women with which to have mutually benficial relationships of sensitivity and care.
that’s true, actually. having said that about the price i did get a significant amount of the items from one shop who obviously knew their stuff and were helpful and friendly in getting me all sorted.
i just did a custom build, assembled the bits one by one from the cheapest place i could find. so make sure your prices are lowest and you’ll be laughing.
hehe, fair enough! well that’s the debate, i’ve got my on one all ready for action with slicks on it, but they’re proper slicks so any offroad isn’t really viable. might take the merlin, give it a run without getting it too dirty
see i feel it is fairly colour coordinated, all monochrome apart from the hubs/headset. i see your point though. don’t agree with it, but see where you’re coming from!
i wanted a thomson seatpost that uk shops were all out of stock of and would have had to order from the states. in the end i got it from aspirevelotech instead; might be quicker and more reliable to try to get it in yourself?
edit… except USE are british aren’t they so probably not!
pink for breast cancer support!! would they not benefit from the cash instead?
i appreciate your concern. i was going to buy chris king hubs anyway, and liked the combination of the colour and the fact that some of the money for those ones goes to charity. you’ll no doubt be pleased to know that for personal reasons i already donate a fair bit of money to cancer charities.
i’m up for this – what’s the timing and location for the meetup, and also the type of riding we’re doing? i don’t have time to read the whole thread, can someone summarise please?!
it comes with a bolt-through step-up attachment thingy, but not sure if it would fit those forks. seriously, though, it’s a great rack.
i took it on the channel tunnel and some young girl got out of a car with her’s and the rest of her family’s bikes all on it. looked at ours (with front wheel in separate carrier also on roof)and said to her dad, “daddy, that man’s bike’s broken”
Mosquito for lovey boutique brands… it’s like an bike jewellery store, I love it
yeah that place is awesome. i took my GF’s siter’s roadie aussie boyfriend in there for a look round before xmas. he left without buying anything but loving it all, i left with a merlin full suspension frame under my arm…
