i just got an athlon, it’s nice. seems to come up smaller than my previous giro animas, medium’s a bit tight but just fits so bear that in mind if you’re ordering online. the athlon’s really nice, i’ve got titanium colour.

yeah it’s a great car, loads of room in it as well which as you’re on motability like us, presumably wouldn’t go to waste? without getting too specific, it’s definitely very handy.

i don’t know about London Transport’s general level of security, but the setup at finsbury park station is really good – basically what i outlined in my first post, in that it’s completely enclosed in metal cage and permanently staffed. really good, and looks pretty failsafe.

the focus is really really good – we love ours so far, and there is a lot of space in the thing. highly recommended, though the motability up front payment for ours was £1,500. we had to get an automatic, though, and so the titanium top spec one was the only we could go for which is why it was a lot. fantastic, though!

everything has – we all know about the well-documented shimano hikes, but my avid juicy ultimates that i got for £140 per wheel a few weeks ago are now at SRP of £250 per wheel… outrageous.

i liked slumdog a lot, and gran torino is excellent as well, couldn’t pick which i prefer as they’re very different. both probably not quite unmissable but definitely “ought to try to see”!
