I just finished riding 4000km in New Zealand and the superstar one is still perfect. The sealing is great.

I think you need to go first.

I just fitted it and it works. The b screw is out as far as it goes and there is still more than the ideal gap between upper jockey and 36t but it shifts fine. Thanks for input.

Thanks, 4 teeth less should be fine then :)

I’m still not sure, thinking probably unlikely it would work. ?

Yeah another vote for a 29″ bike, I would love to support Bird. I’m currently on a xl nukeproof scout 290 with a 66 degree head angle.

C & B seen have been great for me. I think I saw one on eBay if anyone looking.

I reckon I will get one if nothing else I prefer appears. I will get a xl, currently on nukeproof scout 290 in xl. The only thing I would change is to have a threaded bb.

    Ha ha that is funny

Yeah they don’t recommend it because they want you to buy new hubs. How would they know you ever used these adaptors.

I have found going from lock on grips to regular all rubber BMX grips makes a big difference in comfort.

I love this bike, I have heard some say it’s super stiff, but with a 30mm internal width rim and a 2.4 it feels great. The geometry allows you to get pretty wild and not die. I don’t struggle to manual it but I think if you are short you might.

Wow that black thing is nice! I can’t find any info on it though?

I ordered a pike, but I will believe it when I see it. Thanks for letting us know.

Ooh that dhr 2 29 X 2.4 wt is the one I want. It’s going on a xl scout 290, but I would rather have it on a 29″ bird.

Those are nice, you don’t have a list showing some 29″ tires maybe. :)

I bought a new nukeproof scout frame from them. They had a free nukeproof dropper with the frame offer at the time and when I called the guy was very helpful and took a frame out the box to measure stuff for me. I sold the dropper straight away which made the frame very cheap.

I had the exact same issue as you on my nukeproof mega tr also fine when locked out. It was sent back to sram and replaced with the new debonair version.

I have the kit I took off my girlfriends superfly if you want to buy it? Email in profile if interested.

I have joined the club and got a frame. I went for the xl and it looks great. I found this deal and just sold the seatpost for over a £100 on eBay making the frame very cheap. The shipping was free and they sent me free gt85. The other thing that was handy is I called them to check seat tube length and the guy measured it for me.

Yeah it’s Dutch but google chrome auto translates and it’s more about the good quality pictures. I was also considering the fast forward, but I need a bike before March. I’m with you on the discount thing.

    How’s that thing ride?

The fact it doesn’t have a bladder, would that make them more reliable?

Thanks so much for the pictures and info, it’s just what I was hoping to see. The seatube is tall but the toptube still looks low. I’m 6 ft 1 and considering a xl.

@chiefgrooveguru how is that very black thing riding?

Crc is listing the xl Scout as having 48cm/19″ seatube but the geometry chart says 508mm/20″.

The frames have been in stock for a bit, that’s what it says on crc.

If anyone has got a xl one, it would be great to see a picture. I’m just wondering how low they kept the toptube.

    thedude

The other thing about the frame is on crc they list the xl as having a 480mm seatube and it’s actually 508mm like it says on the nukeproof website. The jump between large and xl is a bit much.

I would like a Sherpa with the switchback dropouts, that would be great.

The seat tube length on the nukeproof website and crc is different for the xl scout. It says 48cm for the frameset.

Thanks for the info Ben and loco, I’m pretty sure I’m going to get a yari, I’m just unsure if I should get the regular 29 version or the 27.5+/29 boost version to have more options. I found some for just under £390 on bike24. I will get it from one of you guys though, Germans don’t put Haribo in, they put in a sachet of sauerkraut.

What you guys think of the yari fork? I was thinking it be good in 120-130 range with more simple non charger damper.

Have any of you managed to make it work?
