Went from Ignitors which i hated to high rollers 2.5 which i love, just dont try doing a 26 mile charity ride on them cos on the tarmac its like someones pulling you backward. I run the rear slightly softer than front cos i find you get more bite in the corners that way. They only feel sketchy on loose dusty/gravel downhills. Which, lets face it, aren’t conditions you get for very long in Calderdale!!

The volume of all but the tiniest of sample bags is more than adequate for even the most colossal poos

They should start rating bags on their Ertha capacity. A sort of stoolometer??? I always go the natural bag free fertilizer route.

My boy needs a binbag on a good day.

I can relate, mini Doog had a penchant for semi filling the nappy, waiting for a change then parking the rest!!! I’m convinced to this day he did it on purpose. He’s 5 now and absolutely awesome, he never wets the bed, always gets out of bed to go to the toilet but unfortunately he gets lost (even with the lights on) i’ve found him piddling in some odd places, im petrified he’s gonna piddle on a plug socket one day!!!!

Rudeboy, i like the philosophy but dont you run the risk of over filling the bag?? There is no scientific way to predetermine the volume of effluent that is coming. Thus running the risk of clay/hand interface??

Was out with my bro upon local moorland when nature called for him, he decided to keep both motions seperate (who knows why). The urine was dispatched over a fully laden billberry bush and history is silent on where the other went. We did the same ride the following day and encountered a gent picking picking billberrys, being the helpful souls we are we directed him to the bush containing the plumpest ripest berries……………….

Slightly off topic but faecally similar, i did a 26 miler t’other day and i had the urge to go most of the way round, i didn’t, completed the ride and went home. At home i proceeded to part company with an enormo-brad. There must have been some weight there! My question is if i’d parted company pre-ride/during ride would my time for the 26 mile improved?? Is dumping performance enhancing??

Chain removed, snuck into work, blasted with the indstrial strength karcher. Then sprayed with mind bogglingly expensive German PTFE type lubricant!!! This is only possible when working nights!! Or when you work in the same job as me, all in all crap advice really……………

Why has no one mentioned the art of exiting the bike if need be?? There are times when it is wise to dismount your trusty steed to avoid a bigger thrashing several yards later, or if the grip has gone beyond the point of no return!! P.s stepping off in mid air cos you’ve decided you’re gonna die is a bad option, ride it out you, you WILL land, you may fall off. But if you bail you’re definately crashing!! For me its all about finding a way to bypass the personal survival instinct on/off switch.

Yeah you told me to go to the right of you!! I thought i heard some falling off type happenings behind me but had to concentrate on the grey soup at the bottom near the gate!!

I’ll keep buying on ebay cos of the choice but i wont sell again, to pay 14% for the priviledge of having your payments held by paypal is too much to stomach especially since paypal instantly take their slice.

Im sure i rolled in just before you but who cares eh?? Twas a good day. I liked the old farmers sat outside by the bridleway on the last big climb saying alright to everyone!!

Sweating profusely on a baby blue patriot that was me!! Didn’t see any crashes tho, but i’ve long been a fan of fiddle lane and its sketchy bottom!! Yeah 1.30 is some good going, specially on them hills up to outlane. Apparently theres a ride round Calderdale to do with the scouts which is supposed to be good. I’ll try get some details. May do pennine x yet.

I did 3hr 10! But i’m a fat bleg with a patriot!!! The uphills after scammonden toward outlane were the ones that did me!! never ridden them before, and nearly crashed into the back of someone who stopped dead in front of me going down into Copley. Good ride tho, good atmosphere. Well done all

Whenever i’ve had stuff serviced/tuned it usually comes back with the explanation note telling you whats been done and i’m sure i’ve read a section on the notes saying something like ‘after service it is normal for some oil/lubricant to migrate outward from the seals for a while’ Not sure if this applies in your case but could be??

As a side question how easy was it to get the seals back in?? Did you use a special tool??

3 charge five quid a month for unlimited access but to be honest you’ll have thrown your phone against a wall by then.

I misread the title ‘rotors’ should have been a clue, i was assuming the callipers they’ve started doing were on sale now. Anybody ridden any?

I might ask em to wrap it in a packet marked “narcotics’ it’ll have more chance of getting in unnoticed.

So they just post it as normal and customs decide to slap duty on it as it arrives, or not if i’m lucky?? And i presume i dont get it til i pay? Or do they slap an invoice on the package??

I should hope so too, but i found cleaning discs with alcohol reduces squeaking, if you aint got neat alcohol, alcohol based stuff works fine. Think deodorants, lynx works, your bike smells fresh and women chase you.

There’s a distiction between threadcrashing and threadjacking

Is that like the fine line between clever and stupid (as mentioned in spinal tap)

It does work, I can say that, and realising you are dreaming can be a lot of fun when you then have some control over what goes on…..

    Hell yeah!!

If your having a bad dream, tell yourself your dreaming, it takes a bit of work but it can be done. Then look at your hands in your dream, again you have to tell yourself that your dreaming but it can be done!! You rarely if ever see your own body in your dreams. By looking at your hands you take control. And then you can control your dream. It works i’ve tried it. Not all the time but it helps bad dreams.

I think pay pal has a nerve holding funds, i just got a big wedge for an amp i sold, ebay decided the payment should be on review for 24 hrs, and then they said the payment was ok but i cant have it for 21 days or til i’ve posted the item, which the buyer collected. Its funny but even tho its on hold they’ve still taken their fees. Robbers. I might go into a shop take something and pay for it 21 days later. What right do they have to keep my money?? This has happened on my last 3 sales even tho im 100% feedback. Sorry for the rant.

Well i looked for the pike from the top of snowdon and couldnt see it, even with binocular assistance so i’m firmly in the ‘cobblers’ camp on that one.
