Ideally i'd suggest you only accept recommended suggestions but should you feel the need for further suggestions i'd recommend suggesting it to other forum members for their opinion.

I found them a bit draggy on the uphills, way too much rolling resistance, now running advantage up front and a muntain king 2.4 out back, i know folk dont like the mountain king but the 2.4 version is really grippy.

+1 for kashmir in Bradford, but bridge balti in Sowerby Bridge do some stunning take aways. Outside of Yorkshire, Memorys of Nepal in Reading is one i remember fondly and the palace in west drayton.

I could prob turn one at work, not 100% sure about barrel bore dynamics though. Suppose you just have to get the bore the same as the bearing OD.

It looks like an Arachnobastardus Certaindeatharus commonly known as the 5 second spider due to the length of time between bite and demise.

But on a more serious note it doesn't look like any spider i've ever seen in the UK so i have to ask, are you in the UK??

There was a poor pigeon with a large hole in its back hopping round my garden t'other day, it wasn't helped by the sparrow hawk that was astride its back taking chunks out of it. All its pigeon mates were just sat on an adjacent roof watching, looking nonchalent.

I'd be wearing an inch of barrier cream and three pairs of gloves, the dermatitis you can get from that coolant must be bubonic by now, stick a good biocide in it as mentioned above before life evolves gets in the system and messes with your m codes.

I think braking is ok, its more a wrist/thumb thing. And i'd hate to be the one to tell her she was unable to ride, you just cant kill some peoples spirit and determination.

I had a few interesting debates on Facebook when the 'I'd like to buy the man who attacked Ian Huntley a pint' group appeared. Simple fact is other inmates aren't trying to kill him for what he did, cos they're all in for pretty much the same thing. They want to kill him simply for the noteriety of being the one to kill a high profile inmate. Not my words, told to me by a prison guard mate who had the unfortunate task of minding him when he was in Wakefield.

I've just moved into a technical sales/progress engineer/cad type new job. I'm not a time served engineer but have worked on various lathes/cnc's all my working life. If you're gonna do CAD for engineering then i guess having the basics of engineering is going to help alot. You have to be able to look at a drawing and visualise what it is and vice versa. Lots of places have their own style of drawing as suits their workforce and many wont have the benefit of different projections or even 3D. It would help you no end to learn the basics of engineering. Just dont go into the core drilling industry like i have, i may go insane from all the different threads they use…

My nephew was in a band with the guy who plays the teenage son and they filmed them to use in an advert but i dont think it aired which i was pleased about, don't want my family having any connection with this debacle of marketing.

Forget the music, focus on hating those two arrogant twunts judging. They should pop round to mine and try criticising my Yorkshire puds, i'd be getting the Fred West guide to cellar arrangement off the bookshelf……..

On a tenuously similar note. Why has no one redesigned the ice cream van since 1973?? It's one of the few things that hasn't changed since i was a kid.

And how would i explain it to the shop keeper at the next water test??

    Can I pop round ?

As much as i'm proud of my fish i'd prefer not to have folk popping round and 'knocking one out' into the tank, it would upset the delicate balance (and me as well)

They were all females and yeah they are characters they've nibbled my fingers and they seem to know when the food tub appears that its feed time, i could swear they get excited about it. If you put your finger up to the tank they seem to enjoy chasing it around too.

I'm not sure if the others were nudging it round the tank to get it going again or trying to eat it!! Oh and they seem to enjoy 'surfing' on the filter outlet??

I'm trying not to get disheartened by it cos the other fish are fine and i really think it was just a crap fish, i've tried to stay away from chemicals apart from water conditioner, and only added a few capfuls of so called bacteria to kick start the cycle right at the start. I'm a novice at the end of the day so i'll have ups and downs but they're so tranquil and relaxing to watch!

Sorry, i forgot to mention theres a heater in the tank too, temperature is constant between 79-81

I acclimatised them for a good 45 mins before releasing them, it just died!

it had been in the tank 3 weeks before it expired!

Tank is 60 litre, filter is elite stingray 15, aerator is just a standard little pump and air stone, no live plants or plastic ones, just gravel and a few rocks. i had 3 dalmation mollys now 2, the others seem fine. They were hounded mercilessly by the one that died so they may have taken matters into their own hands.

I may have over fed them but they're now on every other day feeds til the cycle ends, i'm taking another water sample to the shop in a few days to test. I changed my fish dealer too cos i found a closer one and he's gonna email me regularly to see how things are going, which i think is a good service. Unfortunately fish died shortly after i'd seen him yesterday!

I got 3 dalmation mollys, according to the shop keeper, fine for getting a tank up and running.

The water tested fine for ammonia, the ph was fine, slightly high in nitrate, the shop keeper said it was just coming to the end of the cycle. its been running 4 weeks fish have been in for 3. No gulping at the surface or odd behaviour just swimming normally. I acclimatised them for a good 45 mins before releasing them, it just died! I've got an elite filter, the one that looks like like a stingray, i've got an aerator in too.

I would have said it was water chemistry but my remaining fish seem fine, i looked at it carefully for signs of disease but couldn't see any obvious symptoms. It didn't seem to eat much, it just wanted to chase the others away from the food. Perhaps it was just a runt or something. I tried doing the tank naturally but you have to add something to start the nitrogen cycle dont you??

If he was a true peoples champion he wouldn't have been shooting them!! I think its all to do with the mass media frenzy on Friday night really, a Ned Kelly-eque stand off, one man against the world etc etc, without mentioning much about his true crimes.
