This is the nice side of the internet.

By own admission OP missed the links to other pictures showing actual colours, maybe not the best ladies out site but doesn’t sound like a conspiracy. As a result buys incorrectly annoying but customers error. Forum members try to to use power of Google to leave bad feed back to site potentially really damaging business. Lovely, really lovely.

No one builds a old school BMX and expects it to be good. Hell even most mid school bmxs were horrible, but nostalgia is fun

One thing about feeling under confident and using a big bike is that using a big bike for easy slow stuff is actually harder and will make you feel less confident. Big bikes ride best fast, if you feel uncomfident on tricky slow stuff then having a bike bike can be worse as they are harder and heavier to move about

Do we have a tech deficit?

    Yes. In staff numbers

Technical debt is not technical deficit. Technical debt is more to do with technical fragility, things that work but only just, that are hard to alter, that is a struggle to understand. Bodge in bodge on bodge. Things that make it hard to improve, modify that people are scared to replace because it breaks everything is tightly woven into your system. Short cuts results in more work in The end

clermont ferrand. Lovely small city, you can walk up into the mountains from the centre.

6hr drive from Cherbourg or easy flight either direct from london or Birmingham (don’t know about Manchester or any Scottish airports) few places or via Paris. Easy journey

Only thing to watch out for is screen sharing if you have a ultra wide monitor, people will not be able to read it unless they are as good or better set up.

. I set up a zone in fancy zones that was 1920x 1080 then use OBS studio snap it to that zone and create a virtual camera for teams to attach to.

Used to love choosing components to build up a new gaming pc

Not for a gaming machine but I remember buying a massively thick book that explained all the hardware compatibilitues, jumpers, buses you name it. Studied it before choosing the to build the machine and the worry that I had made a mistake. Now I just trawl dell outlet for a workstation with shit loads of ram.

I’d like to pick up a guitar or bass again and get to “mediocre”

When I was young I wanted to play the guitar really badly after hard work and practice I can now play the guitar really badly.

Be interesting to see how it works out, they aren’t the first to adopt it anyway

Exactly, plenty of currencies pegged to USD. As ever it’s not always the destination that’s the problem it’s the journey to get there and how painful that is.

Hammer. If there is two of you when hammering get someone to hold a sledge or similar behind where you are hammering to brace it

Never ceases to amaze me, watching people wandering around wearing quilted/down jackets with hoods u

Even better is you see people wearing these expensive Canadian goose jackets and similar in the pissing rain.

I personally would not go for a fleecy warm base layer. Whilst the outside is cold, the interior of buildings is usually the same

Just to highlight this comment. It’s easy to go over bord and if you’re spending time inside as well it can get very hot quickly. Tbh if it’s around -15degC it’s not too hard to cope with, it is when you get -25 or -30 or so you get cold very quickly. I e of the biggest thing to sort is your feet with something loose, water proof and insulated.

P.s. I was looking at TCP view and nothing stood out. I was just about to take peak with wireshark and look for suspicious activity but this setting seemed to solve the issue. :/ not sure I understand the fix and I don’t like fixes I don’t understand

WiFi was off when try lan connection.

But anyway I think we have a solution.

After a reset (windows restore) everything was fine for a few days, then issues again. Some more fiddling and it *seems* that the settings that fixed it was disabling “large send offload packet”. This is under device manager> network> network card (not WiFi adapter). For now this seems to solved the issue.

What is odd is that apparently any new network card should support this. No idea but seems to be a common ish windows 11 issue.

If you’re lifting or moving anything heavy, a slip on safety boot with liner. If you’re just pooling around with a bike and similar lined crocs or rip off.

I hate the slop for mtb, slow and slippery. Different in different parts of the country some of it is ok but crap down south. I now except it will only be the odd cold day that matches my free time until spring. Happy to do off road dad bike gravel poodle with family but MTB is out.

I watch a lot of YouTube or should I say listen as it’s like my radio, however £11 per month is too steep. I only recently started with an ad blocker as the ad ramped up. I was happy to let some adds play as my payment but when it became so much I installed a blocker.

So what has been happening? Have people been getting pop ups say disable your ad blocker?

preferably a no frills (just need loo access) so cheap place !

This will be much harder. For a campsite to be open over the winter requires more infrastructure and running cost. Hardstanding alone and tracks. Even keeping a toilet block going for less people with more mud and greater water heating requirements is a bigger expense even if this is no heating.

Having said that off season will still be cheaper than summer holidays at the same site.

I would checkout nearlywild club and see if any of Thier members have sites open over the winter. Worth the membership anyway as it’s good sites for the summer

If you make sure you are blindfolded and have your hands tied up so there is no way you could be seen to be driving then you should be ok. Better take out an advert in the newspaper just incase and give the police a phone call before you start operation nighty-whity

Biggest issue seems to be that they don’t feel they can boot strap it again. Understandable but just make the financial commitment massive

Not that I want to sleep on beaches or in hedges or meet erm, hospitable women everywhere, but ya know, just a little sniff of adventure would be good.

Lol. Yeah degrees of dirt bagging. I have a van so some what luxury with a sleeping bag in The back but still sleep anywhere in it and go off afor a few long weekends.
