Arha, thanks, not sure of the models.

It was more of a general query in hope that the purchase of new cameras was not needed.

    Nice photo’s there.

Do the canti studs screw out of the forks or not?

Stop him sleeping in the day, my 4 year old not longer needs his day time sleep.

Also make sure he eats enough at dinner

Varies on the weather, but max is 3 sessions a week. One suffer fest session, one long interval session, 2 * 15 mins for example, and one 90 minute tempo.

“double tap” geeky bike way of saying the “send post” button was pressed twice and therefore there were two replies of the same text.

I thought it was quite cool 8)

Size 56 is perfect for me!

OK, good that they are listed, too late for this cross season anyway. Now are they just expensive or silly priced?

Any kind of interval specific session, (running, cycling, rowing), will improve your ability when performing short sharp bursts.

However as Brant so wisely states, why not just ride more short sharp climbs?

Having watched the latest Trek video on BikeRadar I have to say that the world champs XC course looked like a serious proposition.

Agree that there is a long way to go to 2012 though.

Are the Dalby people involved at all?

Pity it will be lost afterwards, bad management that.

There is a multi day stage race planned in Sweden next year around August time, it follows the Kings Trail, the details are being released early next week.

Two cross races this weekend, rounds 3 and 4 of the Swedish national series. My CX premier on a real cross bike as well.

I’m seriously thinking about the Tacx Flow as I rather fancy I power meter to measure my progress.

I spent last winter on a turbo in the shed when it was too cold and snowy to ride outside, (that’s a lot of the time in Sweden), and this year I’d like to up the level that I train at.

The flow seems to be the cheapest trainer with a power meter.

The CX scene is quite big and friendly in Stockholm.

If you’re moving over next month then I’d wait a bit as the snow is not yet upon us. Most people I know just use spiked tires and get on with it.

Love the idea of the X.

I’m very interested in seeing how clean the lines are without the canti mounts in. So someone hurry up and build a disk brake version.

They look like they have very different angles Sam, are they comparable?

I do have to ask what the deep rim carbon wheels with disk brakes are though, what are they and where were they made?

    The-Swedish-Chef

We may offer a disc version and a canti version.

Even better, more in keeping with the “clean lines” I associate with your creations. V excited about that prospect.

    The-Swedish-Chef

Sam, are you planning to add disk brake mounts to the Kite?

    Absolutely no downside at all.

Intervals are still very applicable in winter, however they tend to be longer in duration and therefore not as intense.

Winter is not all about long slow miles.

A good sports massage, (e.g. one that hurts), will relese toxins into your body and you’ll feel tired/crap afterwards. Therefore plan it after a training session and before a rest day.

Anybody at Leeds in 92 when Roger Hammond won the junior worlds?.

No, but he kicked my arse around Shirely Hills a few weeks before though

It’s that time of year, wait 4 months and everybody will be finding hidden patches of cobbles to ride on.

Still, great for the sport to see more people try it. Its also a lot cheaper and easier to enter CX races, and they take less time.

Busted both mine at the same time after a climbing accident. Having two hands in plaster is a real pain in the arse.

Left one healed in the cast and was in for roughly 6 weeks, right one needed quite a lot of surgery and thus was in a few weeks longer.

Both have healed fine, I’m stronger now in both, although with a little less flexibility in the right.

Used gentle climbing as a way to increase strength and the consultants were amazed at the speed of the results.

So take it easy for a while, but do the physio and train it went told to.
