It’s nothing to do with motivation, more to do with shifts being changed to a lot more nightshift and weekend working plus an hour commute each way, then there’s new management that don’t have a clue. I’m well paid at the moment but can’t see myself staying long term and think I’ll have to bite the bullet and change before I get much older.

The girlfriend’s cousin works as a plumber/heating engineer for a small local firm and really enjoys it. I’m trying to set up a meeting with his boss to discuss options, hope a introduction will get me further than just sending my cv to random companies. I wouldn’t even mind paying for a training course but i would like some understanding that i would be taken on with a company afterwords.

I had the same issue on a set of fox forks when using formula brakes, the supplied bolts were far too short and ended up stripping one of the threads. If you go to halfords you can pick up some M5 bolts for around £2, much cheaper and easier than the helicoil method.

I've got the same issue with my fuel ex, just fitted a maxxis aspen 2.25 and it also rubs on the right hand chainstay when cornering. Rims are xm719's so already fairly wide and not sure a wider rim would make much difference. Might have to think about a 2.1 aspen for the back

I always run 2 or 3 chains on the same bike swapping them every 2 weeks or so, stops the expensive parts like the cassette and chainrings wearing so much.

Just check your pro3's can be converted to a 15mm axle, I thought it was only the pro2 that could do this

I'm also thinking of swaping my juicy 5's, did think about the XC2's but really like the look of the new formula rx, not sure if their for sale yet though.
