Buzzards are a similar size and fairly common here. Kites have quite an obvious v shape tail.

Not seen one outside of Wales but hear of occasional sightings here in Rossendale.

Osprey just flew out over Morecambe bay and out to sea. Would have loved to have been there to see that come over. Also what looks like a drone off the coast of Cardigan.

Had the pleasure of having to walk on a right of way across a golf course today with one of the kids. All friendly when asking if we were on the path, just one idiot shouted at us to get out of the way, when not sure of the way to go. He was feeding his face at the time. Good walk spoiled I suppose.

Opticron are great bins for the money. One of the kids dropped mine so I’m looking at Viking bins. They make the RSPB range as well.

Was wondering about how many kids do a paper round today. I had one in the late eighties, 7 days plus the evening papers. As others have said the Sunday bags weighed a ton and even at 15 I was still only a little lad. Also had the tiny letter box to stick the Sunday Times through. It was big former mill owners mansion with two border collies chained up. Fine walking around the big wood pile past them but would always fly out of their kennels at me leaving. One day they both broke their chains so I spent an hour knocking on the door before someone came. Did have the idea of climbing over the wood pile to escape but one dog waited at the other side, so I was stuck.😀 Bastard nipped me as well. The owner finally came out. ” Oh. Didn’t know you were still here”😡 Still wary of collies.

Have a look at adsb exchange. A flight tracker that shows up a lot of military aircraft.

The Viking 8x32s are what I want after one of the kids dropped my Opticrons. She can have them for her birthday.😀
The bins I used most was some Opticron 8×25 I had, they just go in a pocket. Hate having bigger ones around my neck, so as Badgerbater says 8×32 could be the sweet spot.
Think Viking make the RSPB range as well, so you can have a try at a reserve. When they finally open again.

Quite liked Laverne until she moved to breakfast. Now don’t.
Mary Anne. Yeah, great music. Wife can’t stand her voice.
Didn’t listen to Keavany in morning as the adverts really put me off, but now like. Can’t believe they moved Rad Mac though. Who I love.
Lamacq. Nope. Only listen if there’s nothing on Radio 4.
    Marc Riley. Brilliant.

Main thing that really annoys is hearing the play list stuff. Again and again.

Was going to suggest the Glimmers remix. Top choon. Saw them at Manchester Arena early 2000s. All I remember is what a completely crap place to watch a band.😀

Don’t know if it was talked about before but Radio 4s statistics program More or Less talked about fishing quota claims by Gove and Penny Mordaunt. Starts about 22 mins.

Bought my wife an Acer one about 8 year ago and only just stopped updating last summer. Has been faultless really until a tracker pad button has become hard to use and a couple of the keys have come loose. We’ll have another.

Having foster kids, social services say that we shouldn’t use one at all at any age. Can’t remember why. Maybe you shouldn’t rely on them too much. Couldn’t find anything on Google about it.

Give that man a ceegarr.🙂 Works perfectly at home. They are a butane-propane cannister though, so would have thought they’d be fine. Parents garage is well away from any buildings though and is bloody cold. Remember it being rubbish when camping early season. Useless then. I’ve a large propane cylinder we use at the caravan so I’ll get a heater attachment for that. Thanks everyone.

New gas cannisters though. Does sound like it’s running out actually.

    How about these?
    Never tried them though.
I had some Opticron Vega for a few years until I totally wrecked them. Really good for the money.

My bet is it will be cheaper to fix up the war barge, than it will be to migrate the track and trace database from excel to SQL.

A few tubes of bathroom silicone and it’ll be fine.🙂

Only recognised one place, which was Sheringham. Parents used to take us on holiday there sometime. Saw the sign for Beeston where my dad would take us for a game of pitch and putt. Then we’d fall out.😀

I had one for a few years ages ago. Think was a 55 plate. It was great and didn’t think it was all that slow. It’s a van anyway. Depends what you’re used to I suppose. Don’t think it gave me any trouble apart from the battery dying one freezing winter.

No need to stop cycling because of cost Klunk.
Just don’t chase the latest fashion. I stopped a while ago. It’s liberating.😀

Bloody disgusting. Apparently they died in mysterious circumstances. Everyone knows it’s the estates with their gamekeepers and rent boys. Pricks.

I’ve downloaded it. Quite exciting. I’m imagining it as a bit like the scanners the marines use in Aliens. Would be cool if it made the same noise.😀

Our two little ones go here.
A load of the teachers thought it was a good idea to go to a baby shower party organised by a former colleague just back from the middle east and they’ve become ill and tested positive and so the school is now closed. **** idiots.

I’m after a similar 7 seat 4×4 to replace my 2001 Disco 2. It’s been trouble free for two and half years I’ve had it but looking at something newer. And it’s got to be auto. Not the newer Discos though that’s for sure. So think I’ll go for a Pathfinder.

Just been looking at pickups and decided that the Navara seemed the best of the bunch. Then my wife insisted that we should have a 7 seater, so now looking at the Nissan Pathfinder.

We’ve a tourer we keep on the same site most of the year apart from taking it somewhere else during main school holidays. It’s a very basic site with no services and you have to be brave to visit the old washrooms so you have to be self sufficient. Decent shower in the van and a generator for electric. The place is perfect for us as the kids have the whole field to charge about on, play on the beach and as it’s such a quiet place they don’t disturb anyone. We only pay £70 per month and I think it’s £300 for winter storage. November to March.

I do miss the old wooden step ladders without the guard rail where you could work on the top platform and step off the wrong side.😀
