Rad Mac on 6 music will be doing their crisps on the radio feature this morning if you want some inspiration.

Occasionally do a loop which takes in Warton crag, Arnside Knott and various other off road bits, but it it’s mostly road to link them up.
I hear there are plans to build a cycle path alongside Arnside viaduct which should be great.

We had a couple of baby field mice in the caravan awning during our summer holidays. Fascinating watching them run around looking for crumbs and quite tame. They’re very cute but I don’t think I’d want them in the house.

A recent book of the week on R4, The Siege by Ben MacIntyre. About the SAS storming the Iranian embassy was good. Also on R4, The Lowball Tapes, all about the 2008 banking crash, featuring recordings of bankers talking to one another about it all. Also a bit sweary as you might imagine.

I’d rather sleep in inches of water than buy one of those at that silly price. You can get a decent small caravan for less.

The ductape is looking as the best option.?

Even though the door is locked, it is easily unlocked by just pulling down on the handle.

Our 11 year old usually disappears into her room early evening and is asleep around 9 or 10. No problem in getting her up for school in the morning. We are more strict with our soon to be 9 year old who has to go up by 8 to settle down. Lights out for him about 9 if he’s still awake. Our 3 year old goes up to bed as soon as Cbeebies finishes at 7. ?

There’s a Halfords in Bangor if that’s any good. Can’t think of any bike shops on Anglesey.

Oh and you will definitely want a corner steady adapter for your drill. Miles better.

We’ve been to Aberaeron 2 or 3 times and it is a lovely area. But as crazy legs mentioned it’d be Arnside/Silverdale area for us.

A few days ago I would have suggested a Disco 4. I was thinking just how great it’s been for us the past 2 years having had it with no problems but the parking brake has just seized on. Which can happen with them. There’s an emergency cable to release it but it a pain to move. Just coming up for holiday time as well. DOH.

I disagree with this kind of statement, because it’s not always the case that steering one way makes the van go a certain direction.

Fair enough. My step son is a lorry driver and I’ve no idea how he manages to reverse his trailers. I’ll stick with my caravan.😀

We bought a 6 birth twin axle last year, and it’s much better to tow than our old single axle. It doesn’t get dragged about by passing lorry’s as much. It’s been ok taking it along narrow country lanes as well so far. I wouldn’t fancy towing those 8 foot wide vans though.

If you’re new to towing. Try holding the bottom of the steering wheel when reversing. Left to make the van go left etc.  That helps.

I agree with garage-dweller about distractions whilst reversing. The trouble is with kicking the kids out means that they are legging it about all over the place, which is even worse.😀

On Tenby beach a few years ago, there was an old 6 wheel Range Rover ice cream van that looked pretty cool (funnily enough). You’d have got quite a few bikes in that. Don’t think I’d want to drive it far though.

Give it a good scrub with sugar soap first to get rid of the crap. (No offence) 😀

Using a mini roller will give you a better finish. As usual, it’s all in the prep.

I haven’t been to any campsites near Newborough but I know that the forest itself can be very busy during the summer holidays. Maybe near by campsites too.

Baby shark doo doo doo doo doo da doo.

I tolerate it because I love seeing my little girl copying the daft dance moves in the video but I end up waking up with the tune still in my head. And the rest of the day.😀

It can be quite amusing at times, and his style of dress kind of reminds me of my Dad.

Same here . One of the jackets my dad used to wear on a night out, we said that he looked like Rockford.😀

Since when was it acceptable to pay happy hardcore on 6music?

Bloody hell, I missed that. Did they play Toy Town? Think I’ve still got it on vinyl from my bedroom DJ days. Sorry mum and dad , neighbours.😃

I’ve got Hawke like WCA but 8×25 as I much prefer the smaller bins when out walking. I’ve some Opticron 8×42 which are also great but I don’t use now as I don’t like the size, and I don’t want them round my neck. Prefer some that I can stick in my pocket. The Hawke are noticeably brighter too. You can get them for £150.

Just got my girl on the waiting list for joining the squirrel scouts when she turns 4 in November. I thought that I’d got in early but I’ve just had a reply that because it’s such a long waiting list that they can’t guarantee she’ll get in until she’s at the age of 6 for the Beavers.  I’d be gutted if she doesn’t get in as I know that she’d love it.

Listen to yesterday’s Craig Charles show, Speeder. They were both on talking about their time together and announced that they are doing a tour about it all. Very funny as usual.

Yeah, we’ve watched the first 2 episodes and, yeah it’s a great dramatisation. Bloody awful how the sub PO masters were treated. There’s a couple of excellent documentary series about it on R4. The Great Post Office Trial. You can still listen to it on BBC Sounds.
